We are excited to introduce something new to the sanctuary: Monthly Feed Sponsorships!

We've always reached out to our community when a specific need comes up, and you all have been so amazing and gracious about helping us make those things happen. But one of the most predictable expenses at a sanctuary is ongoing feed needs.

As we look forward to the future, our goal is to continue building Freedom Run into something that is sustainable for the long term that allows us to plan ahead rather than relying on time sensitive fundraising efforts when expenses arise.

Feed needs are just one of the many expenses that go into running a sanctuary, and thankfully most of our smaller expenses like feed bowls, treats, and medications (as a few examples) are already covered!

If you'd like to become a monthly feed sponsor, please choose from our needs below! All donations are tax deductible and go directly towards supporting all of your favorite rescued friends.

Thank you for helping us build a sanctuary that is sustainable, secure, and here for our animals for the long haul. ♥️

Today on "totally unbothered and extremely comfortable":

No one naps quite as hard as these 3 rescued piggies!

Dottie came to us at 2 years old as an owner surrender.

Duncan came to us at 6 months old from someone moving and wanting a safe place for him.

Hope came to us at 4 weeks old after jumping out of a truck on the highway.

Today, years later, they choose their activities, recieve health care, proper nutrition, a warm bed, and are completely unbothered because they know they're safe.

We love them fiercly and unconditionally ♥️🤎🩷

Sundays are for self care, which means pedicures! For the piggies of course 🐽 💅

I can't express my gratitude enough for Beth and Brendan coming out today and getting so much accomplished today ♥️

Not only did they bring a skidsteer, but they hand shoveled anything the skidsteer couldn't get to! The sheepy stalls are clean, we moved some gates around so I could have better access, and everyone got lots of love and snacks! Prepping the sanctuary for winter is a big job and they took a big chunk out of the to-do list today, and Beth has been helping to knock out the rest as the weather starts to turn!

I'm so relieved and grateful for all the work they did today, and so lucky just to have their company. I'm so incredibly blessed to be friends with such kind hearted people.

Ivy is the stronger willed out of out two goatie girls, but she has a sweet side all the same, with a desire to just be loved. If you've met Ivy, you know she's reserved and timid, but she does warm up to some people and it's such a magical moment when she does.

Ivy is also the most assertive in her herd dynamic! When Ivy comes walking up for dinner, everyone gets out of her way. She (mostly) has a tolerance for Teddy, which we're so thankful for since he's a bit more fragile in his old age.

Ivy is also rarely seen without Clover! She loves her sister and the two are just the most perfect little pair.

Summer is enjoying his end of the year watermelon!

Pumba needed some extra love today, and everyone knows that Dom gives the best belly rubs!
Pumba loved spending some quality time with his dad 🤎
