🌟4 WEEKS TODAY🌟

At 4 weeks the lil dirties have opened their eyes, started on mush, got their first set of shots and dewormings & are starting to hear now 🥹

Time flies when you’re whelping! It’s been a bit of a hassle to be everywhere at once this litter but we’re making do and the pups are coming along expeditiously.

Still a couple spots open if you’re looking to welcome a new member to the family ❤️

The big baby’s got their eyes open now 🥹

With trying to balance the pups, the dogs, the family and the new job it’s been a lot to say the least!

The pups are doing good tho! Nice n healthy, 1st shots & deworming ✅, eyes fully open, started on mush and were a little late to the party but will be getting the whelping box adjusted to start potty training them in the next day or 2.

Overall they’re doing great and we can’t wait to show y’all how they’ve been coming along 🙌🏾

How early do you bottle feed your pups? 🍼

Here we have a FRESH 1 week old pup on the bottle. Now we’d prefer to not have to bottle feed at all, but if we HAVE to do it we’d like the pups to be closer to if not a full 2 weeks.

We feel like it’s easier for a pup to aspirate on a bottle than on mama but at the same time if she not producing enough milk then the bottle is a necessity.

How yall feel about it tho? 👀

Last litter she didn’t start this mess until the pups hit 3 weeks! In a second she gone tap out for good and make us start bottle feeding 😤

WEEK 1 IN THE BOOKS❗️

These big babies just made it through their first week! We lost one along the way, but we’re still 9 strong and these little bear cubs are looking good and getting stronger every day!

Watching them grow, find their strength and develop a little personality already has us excited for what’s ahead. We’ve got a long way to go, but so far so good & we’re blessed to say the least! 🙏🏾🖤🐾

Had a puppy pass away on us this morning.. this was the last video i took of her 😔

We noticed she wasn’t gaining as much weight as the other pups and it was slowly down hill from there.

The vets weren’t much help fr and all they could offer after protest was a tube feeding kit that we could use at home.

We separated her, kept her warm, checked on her every 10-20 min to make sure she was still breathing, did about 10 tube feedings that were all successful but in the end it just didn’t do what it needed to.

We know this breeding game comes with some challenges and that a fading puppy is something you might eventually experience but when you put so much time and effort into keeping a pup alive you can’t help but feel some time of way when they kick the bucket.

Nevertheless, it’s a learning experience at the end of the day and something we’ll hopefully be better prepared for on the next go round.

We still have 9 strong healthy pups that need our TLC and we’re here for them as well as Big Mama 🖤🐾

Ooo Big Mama tied! 🥱💤

Them first couple days.. really the first 2/3 weeks after giving birth is something else bruh!

Feedings every 2 to 3 hours, CLEANING, loving on mama, making sure the pups gaining weight etc.. it’s a lot to say the least 🗣️

We right there with her thru it all tho trust n believe! 🙏🏾❤️
