Dates for the first 3 classes of the year:
1/29 @4:30pm -Coppell Nature Park
2/19 @4:30pm -Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve
3/19 @5:00pm -River Legacy Park

New Year’s Resolution: take more naps 😴

Sleep is an important part of training! Balanced mood, energy, and focus comes from getting the right amount of restorative sleep.
Crate training, and the use of a “place“ (or stationary surface) command can encourage your dog to relax and catch some Zs. The goal is to reach REM cycle while sleeping which is essential for brain functions like emotional processing and learning. Crucial for mental health!

2026 we’re serious about sleep, so we have energy to tackle the days ahead! 💪

Fall is here and I couldn’t be happier!

It’s one of my favorite seasons in Texas because activities with dogs are endless during this time!

Cooler weather means your dog deserves longer walks! I’m adding dog walking to my list of services this season and I’m excited to hit the trails with your pup when you’re not able to.
This is also a busy time of year with visiting family or friends and planning holidays. Rest assured that your dog has a comfy place to stay when you make a boarding reservation with me! I’m also offering drop-in visits (limited to local Plano clients) for any dogs that prefer to stay home during your travels.
If your schedule is tied up this season and you’re looking for more ways to get your dog out and about, I will gladly take them on field trips to pet friendly locations to practice their skills and continue proper socialization in public!

Whatever the case may be, I’m happy to help provide your dog the attention and care they deserve this season 🍂 Feel free to contact me to book a reservation or learn about pricing!

August dates for Top Dogs Advanced Group Class are here!

These classes are opportunities to get your dogs around other well behaved pups to practice in challenging settings.
This month we’ll be visiting Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine, DFW Founders’ Plaza in Grapevine, and Holland Lake in Weatherford. All locations are definitely worth the drive and a great way to experience new places with your dog for some final summer adventures!
$20 per dog each class, $10 off final class if you can make it to all 3 classes!

Happy Motiv8 Monday!

I wanted to share some exciting updates! My pups and I have moved to Plano and we’re enjoying the beautiful parks and trails this area has to offer 🤗 Please share the news with any friends or family you have in Plano!

Coming from a small west Texas town (Friona- Cheeseburger Capitol of Texas), I’m no stranger to a commute. I will still be servicing the DFW metroplex and surrounding areas and absolutely don’t mind driving to any clients outside of Plano.

I’m also adding boarding and board and trains to my services 🤩 Pick up and delivery of dogs is also something I’m more than happy to provide! Available boarding and board and train dates for August are the 8th-29th. Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in having your dog stay with me. I would love to have them!

I’m thrilled to formally announce my own company, Motiv8 Dogs LLC!
I’m beyond blessed to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with others. I wouldn’t be in this position without the overwhelming support of my family, friends, and wonderful clients. So thankful for you all ♥️

My logo is inspired by the things that give me purpose in life ☀️From sunrise to sunset, motivating dogs is what I live for! Creating healthy relationships through mindful training, one dog at a time, brings me immense joy!

My services will be announced seasonally and I’m currently offering the following:

•Private Lesson Packages are intended for anyone new to dog training and cover basic on-leash foundations. Puppies and dogs learning new skills are welcome to enroll!

•Private Lesson Memberships are a great option for anyone with previous training experience. They are intended to progress skills by facing advanced challenges each lesson. Private Lesson Memberships are also great for anyone needing a refresher on training maintenance.

•Semi-Private Lesson Memberships, are for small groups like family and friends that want to regularly train together. Ideal for multiple dog households, or friends with likeminded goals for their dogs!

•Drop-In Workouts are for clients with limited time to train daily. Drop-ins are customized to help maintain specific skills and can take place in-home and/or on field trips to surrounding areas. I provide the training repetitions and proper exposure during the day for you!

•Top Dogs is an advanced obedience group class that may include activities like attending public outings/events, CGC preparation, trick training, introductions to various dog sports, play with purpose, and interactive games!

•Paddle boarding & Swimming Sessions will be available May through August. This is a fun and safe way to enjoy the sunshine with your dog. I guide you in proper training exercises, and help manage your personal items so you can focus on exploring with your dog!
