Fort Worth Abandoned Animal Alliance Fort Worth Abandoned Animal Alliance is a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue in the Fort Worth, TX area. We are a 100% volunteer run organization.

We strive to focus on the shelter pets that are the least likely to leave through adoptions at shelters. We primarily take in medical, seniors & hospice, moms and puppies (or pregnant). As a nonprofit we feel this should be the area we dedicate our organization to as we can ask for public funding and apply for grants. Once medical needs are met, the pet goes up for adoption. There are some we know

will never leave our organization and they stay in our hospice program, receiving all care needed until there time with us comes to an end. We work on awareness in our community, consisting of basic care, resources for citizens to help keep their pets in their homes and heartworm awareness. We are hoping in the near future we can help our community even more with the overpopulation of pets.

Adopt Percy!

He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who loves relaxing on the couch but still has plenty of playful energy. He’s strong and ball-obsessed and he loves tug-of-war! He is a heavy chewer, and will chew through a leash if left alone. He does have some separation anxiety. He’s sensitive to loud noises like fireworks and won’t go out during them.
He’s very bonded with his fosters female dog and does well with adult humans. He loves car rides with the windows down. He needs a ground-level home (no stairs) and either a secure yard with supervision or an apartment with frequent walks. He requires frequent potty breaks due to medication. We don’t know how he’d do with kids or small dogs, he hasn’t met them yet.

A little early for a Halloween costume BUT isn’t he cute??
He is dog, cat, & kid friendly and an easy keep! He’s a smaller boy, only about 40 lbs & not very active. His favorite hobbies include playing with toys, lounging around, and watching TV like a true couch potato. While he will go on walks, he’d much rather be relaxing by your side.

Oakley does have a cute little hobble from an old unhealed fracture before coming into rescue, but it doesn’t slow down his happy spirit one bit! He’s proof that a little limp can’t stop a whole lot of love.

Princeton is a perfect example. ❤️‍🩹

Looking at this sweet senior boy, you might think he’s completely healthy. But his mouth tells a very different story.

By the time many senior dogs enter an animal shelter and eventually make their way to rescue, they may have gone years—sometimes their entire lives—without professional dental care. Severe dental disease can mean painful infections, damaged or decaying teeth, and an expensive procedure to finally give them the relief they deserve.

For Princeton, that time is NOW.

Part of our commitment to every dog we rescue is making sure they are truly healthy before adoption—and dental health is health. Princeton needs a much-needed dental procedure to get him feeling his best and ready to find the forever family that will love him through his golden years. 🏡🐾

Beautiful Hazel is 3 years old, potty & kennel trained, has great house manners, and LOVES her people. She’ll trot to her bowl at dinner time, put her paws on you when she wants paw rubs, snore through her naps, and occasionally walk directly into a bush just to stand there.

She loves belly rubs, sunbathing, cuddling and basically anything involving food. If she misses you while you’re gone, she may even steal your shoe just to smell and kiss it.

Hazel needs to be the only pet, but she promises to give you enough love for an entire house full. ❤️

Her perfect home has a couch, snacks, sunshine, and someone to call her own.
