Come join the fun at our next Team School!
Open to all breeds. Team schools are designed to introduce people and horses to drill work, as well as playing around with patterns that might be incorporated into a routine.
Helmets are required for those 18 and under, and a parent must be present. Current negative coggins also required.
Next practice to be held at Sallie's Saturday 2/21, 3-5:00pm & Sunday 2/22, 12-2:00pm

TLA's 3rd Annual Fun Show is coming up on April 20th at Stornoway Stables. We will have Hunt Seat Equitation, Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure and Horsemanship classes. Classes for kids, including Egg and Spoon, Western Pleasure walk/ trot and a leadline class. Fun classes include a Freestyle class, where you can come up with your own 3min long routine, to be judged on degree of difficulty, flow and quality, we will have a Musical Stalls class, Barrels and Poles, as well as challenging trail classes for gatied horses, non-gaited horses and young horses In-Hand. Other classes for gaited horses will be Performance and Equitation. Come support the TLA in this show, and get your young horses and children out for some show experience, and a good time! The classes are divided up into age groups, check out the website for more info, and spread the news to all your riding friends!

Participants for the Texas Ladies Aside Annual Side Saddle Clinic that took place this past weekend, Oct 27/28 2012. It was a good clinic, geared this time, towards the more advanced riders. Starting Saturday morning off with individual lessons under Shannon Brown of Four Winds Horse Training, saturday afternoon Sallie Cochran took over and did a group equitation session, followed on Sunday by Barbara Hannes who worked with the group on drill maneuvers.
