Come see us today at the YLNI Farmers Market in downtown Fort Wayne from 9AM–1PM and be one of the first to try our brand new seasonal Lamb Bowl! 🍲🐶

Our new Lamb Bowl is made with fresh ingredients like:
• Lamb
• Lamb Liver
• Spinach
• Blueberries
• Butternut Squash
• Broccoli
• Eggs
• Rice & Herbs

As always, our meals are made locally in small batches right here for your dogs ❤️

The Lamb Bowls will be available for purchase at the market today, and they’ll also be added to the website later this evening for online ordering!

Whether your day started with puppy kisses, a walk around the block, or your dog stealing your spot on the couch, today’s for you.

Being a dog mom means giving lots of love, treats, belly rubs, and probably sharing more snacks than you planned to. And honestly, we know your pups think you’re the best.

Saturday is a BIG day for Chef K9 🎉🐾

It’s the first day back outside for the YLNI Farmers Market AND it officially marks 1 year of Chef K9 being in business!

What started as a simple idea to feed our own dogs better has grown into something we could’ve never imagined and it’s all because of YOU! Your support, your dogs, your trust in what we do, it means everything.

We’ll be celebrating all morning at our booth, so if you’re downtown, make sure you stop by and celebrate with us! 🐶

Study: What you feed your dog can change their health in just 14 days.

Processing matters. Just like in humans, ultra-processed diets are linked to health concerns and similar patterns are being seen in dogs. How much a dog’s food is processed can affect digestion, nutrient absorption, gut bacteria, and overall metabolic and immune health.

A new peer-reviewed study found dogs eating a gently cooked diet (Lyka Pet Food) had better digestion, healthier gut bacteria, and smaller blood sugar spikes than dogs on kibble (Hill’s Pet Nutrition).

Lower spikes = less stress on the body and inflammation, supporting heart health, immune balance, and healthier aging.
