💜🐾 A Beautiful Legacy of Love and Compassion 🐾💜
Today, Cherished Pets Animal Rescue received an incredibly generous $1,000 donation, accompanied by a beautiful tribute to a very special woman, Michele Hankins-Geha (January 31, 1944 – November 24, 2025).
As we read the words shared about Michele, we learned of a woman whose love for animals knew no boundaries. Throughout her life, she rescued dogs, cared deeply for animals in need, and believed that every animal deserved love, kindness, and a second chance.
Her final wish was that her beautiful jewelry be auctioned, with the proceeds benefiting animal welfare organizations and continuing the work she cared so deeply about.
We are deeply honored that Cherished Pets Animal Rescue was chosen to be part of Michele's lasting legacy.
To Michele's family and loved ones, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals who have been neglected, abandoned, and forgotten.
Although we never had the privilege of knowing Michele personally, we feel a connection through the compassion she had for the animals we dedicate our lives to saving.
Michele's love for animals did not end with her passing. It lives on in every life touched by her generosity. 🐾
From all of us at Cherished Pets Animal Rescue, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of carrying out her wishes.
💜 In loving memory of Michele Hankins-Geha. May her kindness continue to inspire second chances for years to come.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Cherished Pets Animal Rescue 🐾
