The s**t has hit the fan in Fort Pierce!

Heated Meeting in Fort Pierce: The ENTIRE legal team has quit, leaving the city without any attorneys

Here's what happened: • City chose not to renew the current city attorney's contract • In response, nearly all legal staff resigned (except 1 paralegal) • City now forced to spend $31,000 in taxpayer money on emergency attorney search

The $31K price tag has taxpayers fired up: "This is a substantial cost... the city had advance notice but failed to execute a succession process," one resident said at Monday's heated meeting.
