Our Wobbly Little Wonder! 🐾
Get ready to fall in love with one of the cutest little wobbly kittens you’ll ever meet! **Betsy** is an adorable all-black girl with a BIG personality packed into one tiny body. 🖤
Betsy has **Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH)**, which is what gives her her adorable little “wobble.” CH is a neurological condition that affects coordination and balance, usually because the cerebellum—the part of the brain responsible for coordination—didn’t fully develop. **It is not contagious, it does not get progressively worse, and CH kittens can live incredibly happy, fulfilling lives.** They simply navigate the world a little differently!
And let us tell you something about Betsy: **her wobble certainly doesn’t stop her from enjoying life!** 🥹
This girl ROMPS. She PLAYS. She gets right in there with the other cats in her foster home and has an absolute blast. She may wobble and tumble along the way, but Betsy doesn't seem to have gotten the memo that she's supposed to slow down! 😂
Betsy would do best in a **special home that understands CH or, preferably, has experience caring for wobbly kittens**. Her home will need to be set up with her mobility in mind, with safe spaces where she can easily access her food, water, litter box, and favorite sleeping spots. Because she has less balance and coordination than a typical kitten, some additional supervision and safety precautions may be needed, especially around heights and stairs.
She would also LOVE a **kitty playmate who understands that she needs a little extra consideration**. Betsy enjoys playing with other cats, but her ideal friend would be playful without being overly rough or physical with her. She doesn't need to be treated like she's fragile—she just needs a buddy who knows how to play at her pace. 🐾
And after all that romping around? **Betsy is ready to be a LAP CAT!** ❤️
She is incredibly cuddly and affectionate and absolutely loves settling in with her people. There is something extra special about having a little wobbly girl crawl into your lap, purr away, and remind you that life doesn't have to look perfect to be wonderful.
