Of course she waited for it to storm before going into labor, but Fanta did great for her first litter.

Fanta is a baby we kept from Sunkists last litter, not knowing we would lose her unexpectedly earlier this year. I feel like she would be proud that her very first grandbaby was a red wheaten, just like her. Pictures coming later!

Hi everyone, I would like to ask a favor! My grooming salon, Wags to Riches, is up for the People's Choice again this year. This is the last week for voting, and we would love to take home the gold again this year. Many of you are also clients of ours, and even if you aren't, I'm sure you know by now that grooming is our "real job" and what takes care of our 2 and 4 legged family members. Some of you have been asking, so I wanted to update you. We're pretty sure Kessie didn't conceive this time. There was a possibility she wouldnt have because we made the decision to have a spring surprise a little later in her heat than we should have.

Thats ok though! Its better if its all in the right time! We do have another little lady that we hope is expecting. If so, this will be her first. She still has a bit though, and we will update again closer to when she would be due.

Thank you all for your patience and for checking in! I had hoped for better news, but we had originally planned to only have fall/winter babies, so we will at least still have those. 😊

I took my kids to Disney for the first time in 14 years. I was born there, and it felt odd to have been gone so long! While there, of course we looked for Jock items, as I have always collected Scottish Terrier stuff. I am sad to say all I found was a picture on the wall of the Christmas Store display!

Have any of you been in the last few years? Any luck? I'm curious to see what you guys might have found!

Good evening everyone! I wanted to post an update. I will start posting more regularly now as we are *hopefully* expecting our first litter of the year. These would all be black puppies. We are planning another litter that will have wheatens, but this one will not. As previously posted, we are slowing down and are planning only 2-3 litters each year now.
This year really started rough and hit me harder than I planned, so I've been putting some distance between myself and Facebook. I'm going to work on being more present now to keep everyone who has been waiting on a puppy updated. If you've read this far, please post some pictures of your sweet dogs in the comments. I love to see them and they always bring us joy!

I would like to apologize for not being on the page much and being slow to answer messages. We lost Sunkist recently in a freak accident. I wasn't ready to talk about it, and honestly I'm still not. She was the first puppy we ever kept, and I thought we had more time.
I have updates about our possible spring litter, but we are still grieving and with respect, we aren't quite ready to post yet.
I would also like to take a minute to make a confession. Once upon a time I remembered all the puppies and all the families. As time has passed, between running a high volume grooming salon and meeting so many of you, I've become terrible with faces. I recognize most dogs because I'm more than a little dog crazy, but people don't stick like they used to.

If I ever meet you again or see you in public (for my locals), please give me a minute to place you, or give me your name. Its not a lack of caring who you are, it's just 5 children's worth of mom-brain and 20 years worth of clients rattling around in my head. Thank you for understanding that you all matter, even when it takes me a minute to place you.
