Massimo (A2460782), a 5-year-old Mastiff mix, recently charmed viewers during his Local 10 appearance. After arriving as a stray on January 2, this sweet, gentle dog has spent more than four months waiting for a family.
Staff describe Massimo as friendly, calm, and affectionate. He enjoys attention, walks well on a leash, appears housebroken, and loves a game of fetch when he’s comfortable.

Already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, Massimo can go home the same day with an approved adoption. Adopters pay only the $25 Broward County pet registration fee.

🚨 Our shelter is overcrowded, and just a few hours can change a dog’s life.

Through Broward Buddies, our micro-foster program, you can take a shelter dog out for a short adventure, a walk, a pup cup, or simply some time away from the shelter.

These short visits help reduce stress, provide enrichment, and help market dogs to potential adopters by showcasing them in real-world settings.

Short time. Huge impact.

Learn more at Buddies.Broward.org or email [email protected].
