🐾 AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class Registration is Now Open! 🐾

Give your puppy the best start possible with our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program!

Designed for puppies as young as 8 weeks old (with your veterinarian's approval), this fun and interactive 6-week course focuses on the essentials every puppy needs to become a confident, well-mannered companion.

⭐ **S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsibility**

During class, you and your puppy will learn:
✔ Sit, Down, Come, and other foundation behaviors
✔ Proper socialization with people and other puppies
✔ Confidence-building exercises
✔ Positive reinforcement training techniques
✔ Essential skills that prepare your puppy for future training success

Our classes use proven, reward-based training methods that make learning enjoyable for both puppies and their owners.

At the conclusion of the course, puppies will have the opportunity to take the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy evaluation. Successful participants will receive the paperwork needed to enroll in the official AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program and begin their journey toward earning the AKC Canine Good Citizen title.

Therapy dog Toby has been providing comfort, love, joy and tail wags for nearly 10 years. He and his mom Rosemary visit hospitals, hospice, senior communities, schools and libraries. We are grateful to have them represent our Magical Canine Connections program.
