Doug’s progress report!! 🐾

In the first clip, Doug and I were hanging out in a spot near some other dogs. I wasn’t asking much of him because I wanted to see what he did when he could make his own choices. My only expectation was that he didn’t try to approach the other dogs without permission. Even just a week ago, he would have been losing his mind at the sight of those dogs. This time, he was content to just watch them.

In the second clip, we went to the mall (where he had never been). After walking around, we sat for over an hour so he could watch the world go by and learn he didn’t have to be frantic. The clip of us walking is right before he left, where he was much more relaxed and tuned in with me. Doug is crushing it!!

Little late on the intro, but everyone meet Doug 🐾

He’s the cutest little guy with some big feelings, so we’re working on helping him feel better about things like seeing other dogs on walks, being in his crate, and being relaxed at home. We’re also adding in some general obedience training.

He’s with me for 2 weeks and already making great progress! More Doug content to come ✨

Finnegan and Freya highlights ✨

These two have been doing a hybrid program with me that includes weekly private lessons and one-on-one training time twice a week. Freya is working on controlling her energy, Finn is working on his confidence, and both are learning advanced obedience. They’re crushing it!

The Dash man is back for boarding and he’s turned into quite the water dog! I’m so proud of how far he’s come!!! (Don’t mind Joey being a turd and trying to push him back in the water 🙄)

Dash got stuck on the stairs. (Don’t worry, he is no longer stuck). There is a valuable lesson here.

Let your dog figure things out for themselves. When they learn they can do it, they get more confident working through their fear. They can do more than we give them credit for!

Meet Dash!! He is with me for 4 weeks to work on some pretty extreme fear of being outside and general anxiety. He’s been here for about a week and has made some great progress. Here is a compilation of some training sessions we’ve had so far. Watch till the end to see the cutest face!!
