🐾💕 FURIEND FRIDAY: Meet Koa! 🐶✨

Don’t let this little fluff ball fool you… Koa may be small, but his energy and personality are HUGE! 🥰🐾

Every Wednesday is Koa’s favorite day because it’s DAYCARE DAY! 🎉 This little guy comes ready to play, socialize, and make the most of every minute with his furry friends!

Koa is quite the social butterfly! 🦋💕 He has SO many friends, loves mixing it up with different playmates, and is always one of the first to welcome a new pup into the crew! 🐶❤️

And when it’s time to go home? Let’s just say Koa would happily stay for another round of playtime! 😂🐾

We absolutely adore this happy little fluff ball and the fun energy he brings to our Wednesday crew!

🐶 SCREAMING HAPPY MONDAY FROM THIS CREW! ❤️🐾

There’s just something special about our smaller-group Mondays at NoCo Pet Retreat! 🐶 Our crew still keeps us on our toes with plenty of playful zoomies, goofy moments, and fun with their furry friends, but we also get to enjoy those extra-special moments of cuddles, snuggles, and peaceful afternoon naps. 🥰

From romping around and playing with their buddies to curling up for some much-needed beauty sleep, these pups know how to make the most of their day! 💤❤️ Sometimes the best part of a busy day of fun is finding a cozy spot, snuggling up with a friend, and recharging those little batteries.

Play hard, cuddle lots, and nap even harder! 🐾💤

We wouldn’t have our Mondays any other way! ❤️

A little look at our new in-town space! 🐶🤍

We’ve been spending the last couple of weeks watching the pups explore, play, relax, and settle into their new surroundings — and honestly, I think they’re loving it! 🥹🐾

Our space was designed with different dogs, different energy levels, and different play styles in mind.

🐾 A cozy puppy + older dog + calm area with a living-room-style setup and soft ambient lighting. It gives our more relaxed pups a comfortable place to hang out, decompress, or enjoy some quieter play.

🐾 Two large play areas that will allow us to create more diverse groups based on size, age, energy, and play style. The separation between these areas has not been installed yet, but it will be completed by the end of October. Once installed, we’ll also have the option to open the spaces up with the wide doors when a larger group is a good fit!

🐾 Indoor + outdoor access with our turf outdoor area, giving the pups a place to sniff, stretch their legs, play, and enjoy some fresh air.

🐾 A temperature-controlled indoor space so the pups can stay comfortable throughout the day, even when Colorado weather decides to do its thing. 😅

🐾 Our garage door stays open most of the day, creating that constant inside/outside feel. With our climate-control systems, we’re able to maintain comfortable temperatures indoors while giving the space an open-air feel.

🐾 And of course… the play equipment! 🥰 The picnic table and ball pit have already become a couple of favorites, along with plenty of room to run, explore, and make up their own games.

The best part has been simply watching the dogs use the space. Every pup interacts with it a little differently, and from what I’ve observed, everyone seems to be settling in really well and enjoying having more room and more options throughout their day. 🤍

We’re still making little adjustments as we learn what works best for our pack, but it’s been so fun watching this space come to life — and even more fun seeing the pups enjoy it! 🐶🐾

🐾 FURIEND FRIDAY: SUMO DOUG! 🐾

Everyone, meet Sumo Doug! 🐶❤️ And guess what?! Today is his BIRTHDAY! 🎉🎂

We made sure this sweet boy had a birthday worth celebrating here at NoCo Pet Retreat! He brought some special treats to share, and we busted out the ball pit for some extra birthday fun! 🥳 Between treats, playtime with his best furry friends, and all the birthday excitement, Sumo had quite the day! Now he’s catching up on some much-needed beauty sleep with his buddies. 💤🐾

One thing you’ll quickly notice about Sumo is his absolutely irresistible puppy eyes! 🥹❤️ He knows EXACTLY how to flash those adorable eyes to score a few extra pets, snuggles, and attention from his favorite humans. And honestly… who could say no?!

Sumo is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. He loves romping around with his friends at NoCo Pet Retreat, but he’s also a professional napper who can get comfy just about anywhere! 😂 Whether he’s making new memories with his furry friends or snoozing beside them, Sumo brings so much sweetness to our pack.

The pups are LOVING our new in-town building! 🐶🤍

More room to play, a safer setup, lots of natural light AND… our very own outdoor area! 🌿🐾

One of our favorite parts is that it has a constant inside/outside feel. Our garage door stays open for most of the day, giving the pups easy access to fresh air, sunshine, and the outdoor space whenever they want it. ☀️🐶

Using technology and innovative climate-control systems, we’re able to keep the indoor space comfortable while keeping that open-air feel throughout the day — something you don’t often find with in-town daycare locations!

And honestly, the pups couldn’t be happier. 🥹 They’ve been having so much fun exploring, playing, lounging, and making this new space their own.

It makes our hearts so happy seeing everyone enjoying their new home away from home. 🤍🐾

🐶 FURIEND FRIDAY: Meet Bruce! 🐶

Also known around here as Bruce-Mann, Brucey, Brucester, and Crazy Boy! 😂

Bruce’s NoCo Pet Retreat journey started with simple dog walks… and somehow, it just kept getting better from there!

Bruce has been with me since the very beginning - over 2 years! I got to walk him when he was just a puppy, and I’ve had the absolute joy of watching him grow into the crazy, goofy boy he is today. 🥹❤️

Bruce is SO social and tries to make friends with everybody… even skunks! 😂 (I think he’ll learn from that one!) No worries though, his friends still played with him!

He loves to play with everyone. His play style can definitely come on a little strong 😂, but underneath all that craziness is the biggest love bug who just wants to have fun and be with his friends. ❤️

And boy does Bruce have A LOT of best friends here at NoCo! 🐶🐶🐶

Sadly, today may be Bruce’s last daycare day with us as he and his family are moving out of state. While we are definitely going to miss our Brucester, we are so grateful that NoCo got to be part of his journey from puppyhood to the crazy boy we know and love today. ❤️

Bruce - we love you SO much and will miss that crazy face, big personality, and endless energy! We’re wishing you and your family the very best on your next adventure. 🐾

🐶 Thursday Pack Update!

The pups are soaking up another fun day at our home location this week! Lots of play, socializing, zoomies, and of course plenty of cuddles. 🐾

And we’re getting SO excited because next week, daycare officially moves to our new in-town location! 🎉

Our new space gives the pups 2,000 sq. ft. of indoor play space, designated areas for different play groups, and an outdoor area for even more fun!
