All Aboard Animal Rescue (AAAR) is a rescue group based in Northern Colorado dedicated to rescuing dogs from high kill shelters from areas like Texas and New Mexico. We take these dogs and give them a second chance at life, and connect these dogs with their forever homes. Our rescue is foster based, meaning that our dogs are in home environments until they find that perfect home.

🆘‼️URGENT FOSTER NEEDS‼️🆘

ALL of the dogs pictured are in urgent need of a foster placement starting TODAY until next* Saturday!! That’s 14 dogs.

We know this time of year is busy. School, vacations, work, family plans, and everything life throws your way can make fostering feel impossible. But while life gets busy for us, it doesn’t stop for the dogs and cats sitting in overcrowded shelters, waiting for someone to save them.

Right now, we have multiple dogs in need of a foster home. Their lives depend on people willing to say “yes.”

Fostering doesn’t require a perfect schedule, just a willingness to give an animal a chance. That spare room, empty bathroom, or spot on your couch could be the difference between another night in the shelter and the fresh start they deserve.

‼️TODAY - 14 pups are needing foster care for the week
‼️WEDNESDAY - 8 pup are going to be in need of foster care. 9 kittens are going to be in need of foster care.

🐾COMMITMENTS
Dogs: Saturday - Saturday or Wednesday - Saturday
Cats: 2/3 week minimum

-All supplies are provided 😊
-All animals are up to date on vaccines, dewormer, etc 🩺
-Each dog is dog and people friendly

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR NEXT WEDNESDAY! 🚨🐶❤️‍🩹

One incredible mama and her five tiny newborn babies. And six lives depending on someone opening their home. 🥹❤️‍🩹

The second we received a picture of this beautiful mama, we knew there was absolutely NO way we could say no. ❤️

Mama was incredibly close to her due date, and we knew her five little babies could make their appearance at any moment. But something pretty incredible happened…

Almost as soon as we said “yes” to taking her into our care, mama gave birth. 🥹💕

We can’t help but wonder if she was waiting until she knew someone was coming to help her. Until she knew that she and her babies would have a chance at the safe, happy lives they deserve. ❤️

Now, her five precious babies are almost two weeks old, and this little family is scheduled to arrive in our care NEXT WEDNESDAY! They’ll be just under three weeks old, which means they still have so much growing, learning, and discovering ahead of them.

And that’s where we need your help! 🥹🐾

Mama and her five babies need an immediate foster home willing to welcome them for approximately six* weeks!

Mama has already done the hard work of bringing her babies into this world. Now, she deserves a safe, comfortable place where she can relax, care for her little ones, and teach them everything they need to know about being dogs. And her babies deserve a warm, loving environment where they can grow up discovering just how wonderful life can be. ❤️

Fostering is completely FREE! We provide ALL supplies, food, medical care, and everything else this little family could possibly need. All we’re asking you to provide is a safe space, patience, and lots of love. 💕

We made a promise to this mama that she and her babies would have a second chance. Now we need someone to help us fulfill that promise. 🥹❤️

This week’s Where are they Wednesday is Annie, formerly known as Annabelle!! 🤗🚂

Annie arrived to our care in March of 2024 alongside her 10 puppies!!! After watching all of her puppies find their forever homes, Annie stayed in foster care. It’s common to see moms and their puppies come in and the puppies find their homes quick, leaving mom waiting. Annie waited patiently for her forever home, and finally eight months later, her perfect home found her. Annie was officially adopted in November of 2024!!🥹❤️

Here’s what Annie’s mom has to say since bringing her home:

“Annie is the absolute light of my life! Since getting her during my junior year of college, we’ve spent a summer living in Minnesota and moved back to my home state of South Dakota after graduation. She’s been by my side through so many new experiences, and it’s been the best thing getting to watch her grow alongside me.

When she first came to me, she was fearful of men, and now she’s besties with my dad. Her favorite things are sleeping in, cuddling with her stuffed animals (aka her babies), and visiting her grandpawrents and hanging out with their dogs.

I can’t wait for many more years of laughs, adventures, and loving my sweet Annie! Thank you to everyone at AAAR for all the love and care you’ve given Annie and her babies. 🩷”

THANK YOU to all the rescuers, medical team, transporters, fosters, volunteers, and adoptive family involved in finding Annie her forever home and for the beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. ❤️

Meet Dice! ❤️🎲🐾

Life may have dealt him a rough hand, but Dice is determined to make every day a winning one! 🥹

Dice is an adorable Pit mix puppy with a BIG personality, a few extra quirks, and enough confidence to fill an entire room! 🤣❤️

We don’t know exactly what happened in Dice’s past, but we suspect he may have been attacked by another dog before arriving at the shelter. Whatever he’s been through, it hasn’t stopped him from being the happiest, goofiest little guy around! 🥹

Dice is playful, cuddly, ridiculously mouthy, dramatic, and BOLD with a capital B! 🤣 This little man knows what he wants, isn’t afraid to express his opinions, and has absolutely no problem telling you when he disagrees. Apparently, being small doesn’t mean you can’t have some BIG feelings! 🤷‍♀️

Dice loves with other dogs, adores people of all ages (including kids!), and even gets along wonderfully with horses and chickens! However, his confidence occasionally gets the best of him, and he’s still learning that his furry friends have opinions and boundaries, too. 😅 Thankfully, his foster siblings are doing a wonderful job teaching him how to respect their space, accept gentle corrections, and understand that sharing and taking turns are all part of being a good friend! ❤️

Dice is a quirky boy. His head is shaped a bit differently, his tongue is almost always making an appearance, and when this boy sleeps, he SLEEPS. We’re talking professional level, absolutely unbothered naps. 😭

He’s also making great progress with potty training and crate training, and learning that he doesn’t have to worry about his favorite things being taken away.

Dice is looking for the perfect home that will spoil him rotten, embrace his quirks and continue to teach him how to be the perfect gentleman!

Meet Thunder! 🚂🐾❤️

BIG head, BIG personality, BIG feelings, and absolutely NO concept of personal space. Let’s just say this boy has taken his name VERY seriously. 🤣

Thunder is a whole lotta puppy packed into one very dense body. Between his giant bowling ball of a head and his complete lack of awareness of his own size, this handsome gentleman occasionally operates like a wrecking ball with legs. But, he always means well! 🥹❤️

Thunder absolutely ADORES other dogs, sometimes a little too much. He’s learning that not every dog appreciates an enthusiastic, full body greeting and that personal boundaries are, apparently, a thing. 😅

And while Thunder might look like a big, tough guy, he’s actually a big ol’ baby. Unexpected things can give him a little spook, but he’s slowly learning that the world isn’t so scary after all.

Thunder is also quite the little student! He’s doing great with potty training, improving his leash manners, and learning that not everything in the house is a toy.

But Thunder’s greatest talent is loving his people with his ENTIRE heart. Once you’re his person, congratulations! You’ve officially acquired a personal bodyguard, emotional support shadow, and professional cuddle monster.

Thunder believes his favorite human should remain within a five foot radius at ALL times. Leaving the room without him? A personal betrayal. 😂 Thankfully, he’s making wonderful progress building his confidence and learning that a little independence is okay!

Thunder may be clumsy, dramatic, and a whole lot of puppy, but underneath that giant head is an even bigger heart. 🥹❤️

So, if you’re looking for a best friend with a bowling ball for a head, a stomach that’s never full, and enough love to fill an entire house, Thunder is ready to roll into your life and steal your heart! ❤️
