I took a road trip to River Valley Horsecamp in my hometown of Farmington, Iowa. Best of America by Horseback was on location filming and I was the clinician! I led a short demonstration on some simple Groundwork techniques to get your horse ready to ride and gave an Introduction to Equine Facilitated Coaching and my facilitator program.
River Valley Horsecamp is beautiful and it was a pleasure and an honor to be on the schedule for this fun weekend!

Just a few calm moments from a hectic summer. ❤️

There's something about pausing, taking inventory, and aligning yourself to the rhythms of nature and animals that heals the soul.

Even though I specialize in helping people slow down and reconnect with themselves and the world around them, I am challenged with the same struggles. I believe that this shared experience is what makes my work so authentic and powerful.

Reconnect with yourself.

What does that mean?

Think about the difference in being 'by yourself' and being 'with yourself'. One is NEXT TO and the other is WITHIN.

This is your sign to wake up! Notice! Are you floating through your days only partially engaged? Are you bringing your wholeness to your relationships? To your work? To yourself?

What helps you be WITH yourself? breathing • meditation • nature • reflection • stillness • exercise • creating • dancing • or maybe it's horses!

This is me, reconnecting with both myself and my horse, Gus. I stopped, mid-grooming, and leaned into a quiet, present moment. It felt grounded, joyful and peaceful. It felt like my lungs were working at optimal levels again. I think Gus liked it, too. 😉 My passion is helping people rediscover this feeling!
