Omega-3/Antioxidant Formula

Recent studies show that today's dietary ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 is 25:1 ratio in most commercial dog foods, while the ideal balance is closer to 5:1 ratio for your canine. Flax seed, stabilized rice bran, ground sorghum seeds, herbs, spices and refined fish oil - combined to provide the optimal method o

f achieving the ideal balance of Omega-6 and Omega-3 levels in your dog's diet

In today's world, our best friends are exposed to many environmental perils and emotional stresses - chemical preservatives in dog food, pollutants in air and water, pesticides in the earth, high anxiety levels from unnatural, crowded, noisy conditions. These factors can create damaging free radicals that overload your dog's natural defense system. Degenerative diseases such as cancer, heart disease, arthritis, and cataracts are some of the results. Supplementation with antioxidants to fight free radicals is becoming a necessity rather than a choice. One tablespoon of Hair of the Dog will provide over 2100 mg Omega-3 fatty acids

They call us ugly.
They call us pests.
They say we don't belong.
But we were here first.
We raise our babies.
We keep ecosystems balanced.
We're just trying to live the life meant for us.
THE OPOSSUM:
→ Eats 5,000 ticks per season
→ Immune to most snake venom
→ Nearly impossible to get rabies
→ "Plays dead" because it's TERRIFIED of you
THE RACCOON:
→ Remembers problem solutions for 3+ years
→ Has more sensory receptors in paws than most mammals
→ Washes food to "see" it better through touch
→ Just wants to eat and raise babies
THE SKUNK:
→ Eats grubs destroying your lawn
→ Digs up yellow jacket nests (you're welcome)
→ Only sprays as absolute LAST resort
→ Stomps feet and warns you FIRST
You call the exterminator. You put out poison. You shoot them.
For WHAT?
For eating the pests you'd pay money to remove?
For existing in a neighborhood built on THEIR home?
Kindness should include all lives.
They're not beautiful to everyone. They're not always welcomed. They're not always understood.
But they're just trying to live the life meant for them.
Maybe let them.

📷🐺 Celebrate with us! Join our free webinar, Wild Kinship: A Look Into Coyote Lives Through Two Lenses 🐺📷

Coyotes are among the most maligned and misunderstood wildlife in North America—yet they are intelligent, devoted family members, skilled hunters, playful pups, and essential participants in healthy ecosystems.

Join us during Coyote Awareness Week for a powerful and personal visual journey into the lives of coyotes, led by Project Coyote staff members and wildlife photographers Karin Saucedo and Mark Surls. Through two distinct photographic lenses, Karin and Mark will share intimate moments from the field. Their work reveals deeply social, adaptable, and sentient beings navigating an increasingly human-dominated world.

Whether you’re a wildlife advocate, photographer, educator, or simply curious about the wild neighbors in your community, this conversation will leave you seeing coyotes in a new light. Come discover the beauty, complexity, and kinship that connect us to one of North America’s most remarkable species during Coyote Awareness Week.

TODAY at 12:30 PM A Defining Wildlife Justice Moment

Today, a judge will hear arguments in a case that could reshape how wolves are treated under the law across the West.

This hearing is not just about one incident. It is about whether extreme cruelty toward wildlife can be excused under outdated legal classifications and whether our laws still recognize that wild animals deserve protection from unnecessary suffering.

A Sublette County judge will consider whether felony animal cruelty charges can proceed against Cody Roberts, who is accused of striking a young wolf with a snowmobile in February 2024 and then dragging and publicly displaying the severely injured animal.

The defense has asked the court to dismiss the case, arguing that Wyoming’s predator statutes allow any method of killing predators, regardless of cruelty. If the judge agrees, the case would end before trial and that legal interpretation would stand.

This Matters Beyond Wyoming~

The outcome of this hearing could set a powerful precedent for wildlife policy and enforcement across the West.

At stake is whether state laws truly prohibit cruelty or whether certain animals can be excluded from basic legal protections simply because they are labeled predators. This decision could influence how future cases involving wolves, mountain lions, coyotes, and other native carnivores are handled, both in Wyoming and beyond.

If the motion to dismiss is granted, it risks creating a legal loophole where extreme acts of cruelty are effectively immune from prosecution. If the case proceeds, it affirms that wildlife laws still carry moral and legal boundaries and that cruelty is not acceptable under the guise of wildlife management.

This case asks a fundamental question that matters deeply to our mission: Do our laws reflect coexistence and responsibility, or do they permit violence disconnected from ecological and ethical values?

We are watching closely and will continue to advocate for a future where wildlife are treated with dignity and where justice applies to all beings, wild or otherwise.

Wildlife Rescue is asking the public to please not use any traps during this severe storm. Animals who get caught will have no way to stay warm or find shelter and will slowly die in the traps.

Also, cottontail rabbits, squirrels and opossums babies are present in the environment, and we ask that people please leave them in their nests and do not disturb the parents or the babies.

All wild mammals, birds and reptiles are very vulnerable during this severe weather event and Wildlife Rescue is doing all it can to help any animal in trouble. But if the public will cooperate by not interacting with healthy wildlife, it will help save lives.

If you find an animal who is freezing, then call our hotline at 830-336-2725, we will tell you what to do to aid that animal.
