Yesterday turned out to be Transformation Thursday and it did not disappoint! This pup has a unique texture to her double coat that makes it compact easily thru daily living activities. But after a good brush, thorough bath with de-shed shampoo & conditioner, blow dry and some more brushing, we got her all smoothed out again!

These 4 all made a valient effort at winning "Most Satisfying De-Shed" 🏆but the winner was sweet Mo, the blue merle corgi.🥇 She took the title by having the largest amount of hair compared to body size! 😆
Do you have a dog that could challenge Mo's title? I have appointments available next week! 🐾

6 month old, cutie patootie Gidget came in today for her first 'official' grooming session ever.🧡 She's had baths and nail trims at home, so today we worked on getting used to the salon environment and equipment.✂️ We trimmed those pesky hairs from in front of her eyes, cut and filed nails and trimmed up her toe hairs. Lots of treats, snuggles and 'good girl' affirmations to help her learn that grooming is ok. She's a doll and I can't wait to see her next time! 🥰

What do you do when you behave so well that the groomer gets done early? You hang out for belly scratches, of course!

Last week was all about the Bath & Brush. These "easy" grooms are still important. A good bath, thorough brush out, de-shed if needed, trimming of feet and any of those pesky mats that can form behind ears and in the pits are all part of my Bath & Brush service.
Appointments are available next week!

Little Snyper came in for his 2nd visit with me last week. During our first meeting, he was absolutely not a fan of having his feet/legs and nails done.😔 After having a surgery on one of his feet in the past, who can blame him for being apprehensive about it, so I just took my time and did what he would let me. However, this 2nd visit... he was much more relaxed and allowed me to trim nails and feet/legs! I was so proud of him and happy that he is learning to trust me.
Grooming is stressful to most dogs.
I work very hard to make it as comfortable for them as I can.
Snyper, aside from being adorable, you give the sweetest hugs 🥰 and I look forward to our next appointment.
