Wanna healthier dog? Confused with prebiotics, probiotics, microbiome and all the other words I’ve sent floating around Facebook… Let’s get the 2 basic things you can do to help your canine friend!
1. Water, as clean of water as you can offer. Most feed some sort of dry food, kibble, air dried, freeze dried, baked dry dry dry. Safe for animals bone broth is also a great substitution for something fun to add to the bowl but get some water in there!!
2. Rotating some plants to feed the good bacteria that live throughout the body is the best way to help keep things consistent and happy in there! Like what? And how much? This depends on the size of your pup, any goals you have for that healthier life and most importantly what they WILL eat!
Pumpkin- 100% plain cooked or canned
Green beans- cooked or raw
Carrots- lightly cooked is easier for digestion
Blueberries
Apple
Broccoli
Oats- no sugar
Sweet potato
Dog safe PLAIN yogurt with live cultures
Cooked and cooled potato or rice- why cool? Cooling increases resistant starch
Remember to use in moderation and rotate.
I’d love to hear what your dog thinks of the things you offer. As always if you have questions leave them below 👇🏻
My girl won’t eat it if a cucumber was anywhere near it 🤣 She prefers vegetables over fruit but loves to see what’s in the bowl everyday ❤️🩹🐾👣♥️
