We will go over your pet's general behavior.
Are they anxious? Maybe they are super friendly, but they have to get to know me first. Are they reactive with strangers or other animals? Really anything you think is noteworthy about your pet's behavior.

We will go over your pet's day-to-day routine; their feeding schedule, medication if applicable, potty schedule, when they normally go to bed and wake up, how long they can be left alone, walking routes if applicable, etc.

During the meet & greet, I will determine if I will be comfortable during the sit. My only requirements are a clean environment, clean bedding, a little space in your refrigerator and freezer for my food, and the ability to control the temperature in the house. Due to my Asthma, I am only able to accommodate house sitting in smoke free homes.

We will discuss what their daily exercise consists of. Do you normally just go in the backyard and let them run around? Maybe they are used to getting 1 or 2 walks everyday. 1x one hour walk, or 2x thirty minute walks, are included in my base house sitting rate. Does your cat initiate play themselves, or does someone have to get them in the playful mood? Or maybe, your pet is a sleepy couch potato!

We will go over your requirements for the sit. For example, how long I can be away, how often you'd like updates, if you need a few plants watered, if you'd like me to grab your mail everyday, maybe you have a few bird feeders that you'd like me to fill. The more specific and detailed you are about your expectations, the better.

We will discuss what time you need me to arrive on the first day of the sit, and what time I'm able to leave on the last day of the sit. I understand you might not know this information if you're booking months in advance, but I do need it as soon as possible as it could potentially affect the cost of the booking, and so that I'm able to schedule around it.

Holidays are the busiest time for me, so if you need pet care, itโ€™s important to book your sit as soon as you can! I can only house sit for one client at a time. I limit the amount of drop ins I do, because I donโ€™t want to be away from the pets Iโ€™m sitting for too long.
