Just now – on June 7, 2026 at approximately 10:05 PM, a small white figure appeared in front of us on the road in the dark – a puppy sitting right in our lane.
We stopped abruptly. We called out, trying to get its attention. It turned around and ran down the road in the light of our headlights.
We were driving very slowly for about a mile, and it was running ahead, and we couldn’t stop it or catch up with it. Suddenly it turned sharply to the left and disappeared into the bushes. We went to look for it with the kids. The puppy wouldn’t come out, we couldn’t see it in the dark and while we were waiting, it wouldn’t come out.
We noticed a collar. The puppy looks like an adult miniature poodle or a medium-sized poodle puppy. It’s not really very clean – it may have been lost a long time ago.
We really hope that the owner will see this post in time and find their pet.There are a lot of wild animals in these places, and a small puppy, white and scared, is a very dangerous situation.
