We are beside ourselves trying to handle how cute this underbite is!!! He was just picked up today around Cheraw Drive. He is terrified here at the shelter, and wants to go home! If you know who he belongs to, please send them our way. Owner will need to provide proof of ownership to reclaim.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting me yet, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Eunice. I may be an old lady, but age is just a number, honey. I am as spry as a spring chicken. And yesterday, one of the awesomest volunteers took me on my very own doggies day out! Let me tell you… I got to pick out a brand new toy, all for myself. I got to ride around and see the sights. I got soooo many pets. And… don’t tell the other dogs… but I got to eat a TACO. It was super yummy. I was so excited to come back and tell my friends at the shelter all about my super special day. I had a ton of fun. I’d love to go on a permanent doggies day out… I know my future family is out there somewhere. If you’re interested in meeting me, I’m at the shelter pretty much all the time. You can swing by Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 12-5. Maybe even put in an adoption application online…If you have any questions about me, feel free to call the shelter at (843) 629 5456.

Are you looking for a way to fill your free time? Maybe an easy way to burn some calories, and help out a bored shelter dog? Visit the Jayne H Boswell Animal Shelter any time we are open to walk one of our lovely dogs around our trail. There is no easier way to enrich your body, soul, and the mind of an adoptable pet. A quick walk helps these dogs become accustomed to new people, being on a leash, and new sounds. And they love it! Even taking one dog out helps tremendously. You have no idea how happy these dogs are to get out and stretch their legs for a bit.

Walkers must be 18 or older.
