I’ve been putting off writing this because it’s honestly so hard.
On March 16th, we made the decision to give our sweet Cooper eternal rest. It wasn’t something we took lightly, but we knew it was the kindest thing we could do for him.
For nearly nine years, Cooper was my best friend and constant companion. He was by my side through everything, from Kentucky to Arkansas and every step in between.
If you knew Cooper, you know his tail never stopped wagging. He had the kind of personality you just don’t forget. Everyone wanted a “Cooper baby,” and so many people chose their puppies because of him. He truly was the heart of our program, with the best temperament and presence you could ever ask for.
Sadly, Cooper developed a rare fungal infection that settled in his lungs. As strong and loving as he was, we could see he was getting tired. Even when his tail kept wagging, his eyes told us he was struggling.
Cooper wasn’t just a dog—he was family. He was a best friend, a partner, and such a huge part of our lives. The house feels a lot quieter without him, and there’s a space that can’t be filled.
We are so grateful for every memory, every mile, and every moment we had with him. He was so deeply loved, and he always will be. 🤍
