Hands down one of the most common questions in the hobby:
"Is my leopard gecko a boy or a girl?" 🦎
I've put together this quick visual guide to help others out :)
Basically, you're looking right at the vent area between the back legs :
Males have a super distinct V-shaped row of pre-anal pores and those unmistakable dual bulges at the base of the tail.
Females are smooth and flat, with no prominent pores or hemipenal bulges.
You might not get an accurate read until they're around 5-6 months old (or around 5-6 inches long). Trying to s*x a baby can by like a guessing game haha.
