2012 APHA Mare “Breeze”
Breeze is finishing up her first 30 days at Running Fox Ranch.
Breeze has been used as a broodmare most of her life. After an injury to her shoulder, leaving a crazy scar, she was not started under saddle. Her new owners hope to have a super gorgeous trail horse to just love on and take care of.
Breeze came to RFR extremely buddy sour to any horse she could see, would pin her ears and nip at you if she wasn’t getting what she wanted, and would turn her butt towards you if she didn’t want to be caught. When tied, she would pace, dig a hole to China, rear, and set back. When our vet came to check on her soundness, breeze became anxious and would swing her butt towards the vet when asked to pick up her feet.
In just a short 30 days, breeze has absolutely bloomed! With a set of shoes and a good dentist, she has absolutely made a 180! She now ground ties, lounges, roundpens, LOVES halter class patterns, saddles, flexes, and so much more!
I can’t wait to see how the next 30-60 days go with this absolutely AMAZING mare! She has already become a barn favorite!
