Power of 100 Women Who Care - Red River Valley 100+ gather one hour, four times a year to share $100 with a nonprofit It's Simple. It's Meaningful. It's Powerful. It’s life-changing.

Imagine the Power of 100!

100+ women gathered together one hour, four times a year with a willingness to share $100 with a deserving charity. Four times a year, we meet for one-hour and donate $100 each to a deserving local non-profit charity. In 8-years, our donations will total $300,000 to help our community. Your $100 donation is multiplied by more than 100 other women. That’s a $10,000 donation to a local non-profit. Now that will make a huge impact!

In October 2015, a handful of women gathered around a simple idea: what if each of us gave a little.... together... kept it simple... to make a big impact for a local non-profit.

I don't think any of us ever imagined that more than a decade later, Power of 100 would still be making an impact in our community.

Over the years, it has been much more than writing checks. We've introduced people to nonprofits they never knew existed. We've connected organizations with board members, volunteers, donors, and resources. We've celebrated amazing missions and watched lives change because of the generosity of this group. We have inspired other groups to start in their communities. It has always been driven by collecting really rad humans in a space and we continue to do that over and over.

Personally, Power of 100 has been incredibly rewarding. I've gained dear friends, learned countless lessons, and had the privilege of helping shine a light on incredible organizations doing important work.

As many of you know, Jess has carried a tremendous amount of the responsibility behind the scenes, and I am beyond grateful for her partnership, commitment, and leadership. She has led us through a new website and designed a rebrand...seriously.... go take a look at our website....

After much reflection, I've decided it's time for me to step aside and make room for the next generation of leaders. This decision comes with a full heart, because I know Power of 100 is strong, healthy, and ready for its next chapter.

To every single person who has attended, brought a guest, written a check, nominated a nonprofit, carried things in, volunteered, sponsored, or encouraged us along the way: THANK YOU. You are the reason this movement has endured.

What started as an idea became a community. What became a community became a movement.

Now we're looking for the leaders who will help write the next chapter of the Power of 100 story. Email us at [email protected].

"Our greatest accomplishment was never the dollars we gave away. It was proving that when ordinary people come together, extraordinary things can happen."

Since our inception, we have had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of local nonprofits that are making a real difference in the Red River Valley.

Cheers to this group of amazing women!
