If you’re around the area tomorrow or can donate $ this is a great zoo. I’ve had the pleasure of going to this zoo many times as a child and can’t wait until I can visit again as an adult. Happy Chinchilla Day everyone ❤️❤️❤️
🌎Chinchillas need our help! The primary threat to wild chinchillas is habitat loss and degradation from mining activities. The Chilean government has recovery and conservation plans for chinchillas. Through a program called AZA SAFE Chinchilla, North American zoos – including the Minnesota Zoo – are supporting those plans. Visit the Zoo this Saturday, and meet our educators on the Tropics Trail from 9 am - 2 pm to learn more.

♻️From March 21 to April 19, bring your old cell phones, tablets, or laptops to the Zoo for recycling and receive an "I saved chinchillas today!" button. Recycling electronics helps protect chinchilla habitats from mining.
