REMINDER — PLEASE READ ALL POSTED RULES & PROCEDURES BEFORE COMMITTING TO PURCHASE
After the issues we dealt with last week, we are tightening procedures effective immediately.
• NO horses, donkeys, or mules will be held without a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit.
•All animals must be PAID IN FULL using one of our approved online payment methods BEFORE pickup, delivery or deadline which ever comes first
•We will no longer hold animals for “cash buyers” due to repeated no-shows, excuses, last-minute backing out, and wasted time that these horses simply do not have. These situations also cost us money by cancelling paid staff and scheduled hauling.
PICKUP & LOADING POLICY:
•The feedlot itself is PRIVATE PROPERTY and not open to the public
•For safety, liability, privacy, and road access reasons, pickups will take place at a designated loading location chosen by feedlot personnel.
•The driveway into the feedlot requires 4x4-capable vehicles and trailers with proper clearance/high axles. Many standard trailers and low-clearance vehicles are not suitable for access.
•ABSOLUTELY NO two-horse trailers of any kind will be allowed without prior approval — including two-horse slants.
•Feedlot personnel will make ALL decisions regarding handling and loading until the animal is safely secured on your trailer. Buyers do NOT direct loading procedures while on feedlot property or at loading locations. Reasonable requests will be taken into consideration and be accommodated.
• Our crew has years of experience handling stressed, frightened, unhandled, and animals. Safety for the horse, feedlot personnel, handlers, buyers, and haulers comes first.
If you arrive with unsafe, unsuitable, or inappropriate equipment:
•Your animal WILL NOT be released.
•A $150 inconvenience fee will be charged.
•Board fees will immediately DOUBLE.
•You will be required to arrange approved hauling at your expense through feedlot personnel or an approved hauler.
PRIVACY & SECURITY:
•NO photos or videos are permitted of feedlot personnel, vehicles, license plates, trailers, equipment, property, or other customers without explicit permission.
•Respecting the privacy and safety of our crew, customers, and business operations is mandatory.
COMMUNICATION POLICY:
•New customers must contact the page directly for all inquiries, purchases, and scheduling.
•Please do NOT give out personal phone numbers belonging to feedlot personnel or associates without permission.
•For the protection of both buyers and sellers, important communication, agreements, pricing, deposits, pickup arrangements, and policies should remain in written messages or text whenever possible so there is clear documentation of what was discussed.
•Phone calls may be limited due to workload, hauling schedules, and feedlot operations.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND:
This is NOT a boarding facility or quarantine facility.
If you step up to purchase an animal, you need a realistic plan when sending payment:
• Will you need coggins/health• Hauling arrangements• Coggins/health certificates paid for
• Board fees • Proper trailer and tow vehicle• Proper destination and quarantine plan if needed
Animals must be removed within 12 days unless otherwise approved in writing. Once paid for, animals remain at the feedlot entirely at the buyer’s risk.
The mobile veterinarian established with the feedlot is the ONLY vet that will be used onsite. If you wish to use another veterinarian after purchase, we are happy to connect you with an outside quarantine/boarding facility where you may:• Pay for hauling to that facility• Pay the facility’s fees• Use any veterinarian of your choosing
You are welcome to hire your own hauler PROVIDED:• They understand exactly what animal they are picking up• They understand and agree to follow feedlot rules• They arrive with safe and appropriate equipment
• Also a helpful tip is to let your haulers know these horses are at a feedlot and not been quarantined
ALL ANIMALS ARE SOLD AS IS WITH NO GUARANTEES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.Any information regarding age, training, temperament, soundness, breeding status, pregnancy status, or suitability is strictly opinion only and not guaranteed.
NO REFUNDS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
We reserve the right to refuse any sale, pickup, trailer, hauler, or individual at any time.
This feedlot is a business. Hauling is a business. Veterinary care is a business. Nothing involved in saving these animals is free or cheap.
Please come prepared, respectful, and realistic so the process stays smooth and safe for everyone involved — especially the horses.
