It is with a heavy heart and a crushed soul that I am making this announcement. Jim passed in his sleep from natural causes on May 19th, 2025. A small and private funeral service will be held in which he will be cremated afterwards. His ashes will be scattered alongside the ashes of the beloved furry companions he held onto all these years. Please hug and kiss your loved ones as if it were the last time. We truly never know when our day comes.

Vyxyn and her mom, U*i. I love this picture for many reasons. Vyxyn could be a little turd when she wanted to! This was an incredibly lucky shot, given that affordable digital cameras back then had a delay between pushing the button and actually taking the picture. It shows U*i correcting Vyxyn for pestering her. Message received! No adverse side effects, and no trauma. They grew old together. But, even when U*i was nearing the end, she could shoot Vyxyn, along with her brothers Arek and Nubbins (both over 100 pounds and fine working dogs) the Side Eye, and they would back off. Corrections are a part of learning. Fear and pain are NOT the way to teach!!! However, limits must be set. This is a beautiful example of how they are done. Learn from the Masters!

And we laughed our asses off afterwards!🤣

She was such a goofy and serious girl! Not super cuddly, but always wanted to be close. If I was working on the riding mower, she would lay down right next to me. She is my email address. I really feel her spirit tonight.

Yesterday, at 2:33 p.m., Vyxyn got her wings. She's been going downhill for months, but took a steep turn for the worse over the last week. She went peacefully, and with grace. Munching treats right up to the very last moment! Vyxyn was a fine working dog, and we are heartbroken at the loss.💔 Run free, Girly Girl!

Phenomenal first session with Marisa Medrano and 8.5wk GSD F, Jazebell!!! She is a typical happy, social pup, which includes jumping like crazy. She sat on the 5th rep of the off exercise!!! Minds blown!😎😎😎 Showed them some focus and self-control exercises, and got screaming recalls as soon as the family made adjustments! Everyone dialed in quickly. Definitely going to be rockstars!!! Another awesome Linda Hartelt pup!!!!
