Collie pups starting clicker training and doing great with the recognition of it. We can eventually use the clicker for more advanced training as they get older, but starting them young like this to form a positive association with the noise is the first step. Soon, we will use this to start training them on some basic manors, such as sitting for attention instead of jumping. They are doing great as always 👏

Collie’s already showing progress with potty training and using the p*e pads 🙌 They pick up on things SO quickly. It’s amazing! They are also playing with some more crunchy objects 😃 Something new in the pin every day now!

At 3.5 weeks, collie pups are already responding positively to the whistle recall protocol. Listen 👂 🥰 They were talking about it, too! It will take a little longer to perfect it, but this is great progress!!

We whistle every time they get food or a treat, and then eventually we work in praise for a successful recall. Then as they grow, periodically practicing with them in different settings, and with distractions, will solidify it.

Pups will go home with the whistle recall engrained in them! If a pup ever strays off too far, the whistle will become an invaluable tool for new owners for both continuation of training and safety!

Let’s herd the plastic bottles 😆 Starting to show interest in “cause and effect” now. Hoping to get them herding small moving objects like this. Will be pulling out the ball pit soon, that’s always a hit —especially when they roll down the hill 🤣

Classy the Collie has her own little thing already. She likes to go around my neck over and over again like it’s a little agility course for her. Shes one of the sweetest of all of them. I’m amazed at their age already and how much people focus they are starting to show. I’m expecting this litter to be EXTREMELY people-focused, based on this pairing. They are growing so fast!! Can’t wait to really start working with them! We shall be able to take soft treats and start clicker training within the next week.
