Visit our website for info. Here at PVF our goal is to produce family oriented Norwegian Fjord Horses with good minds. We are starting slow with plans to grow our herd as we find horses that will be a good fit for our program. Aside from horses, we are also selling fresh produce from our raised bed garden. Gio & Anthony did phenomenal together. Elsa led and was super solid! I can’t remember the last time I trail rode her honestly. Niko has been her main rider this year. 😆

It’s blazing hot outside the next few days and let’s just say I cannot WAIT until fall!

I’m back from our last vacation before Niko heads off to kindergarten 😭

Only getting into the upper 80s today so I gave all 9 horses haircuts! They desperately needed them, now they all look presentable. So ready for cooler weather.

4 years later… I have an arena of my own!

Anthony and I slaved in the heat the last 3 days to get the panels up before Niko and I headed to FL for the week. I was able to enjoy it with a nice ba****ck ride on Gio last night. I am SO excited to have a safe space for Niko to ride alone too.

Our power company added a light for me on our power line which is perfect!! HUGE thanks to Mark and Bryce with Bar MB Services, LLC for getting my ground worked up and also to Robert with Montgomery Trailer Sales & Equine Supply for the panels!

I was able to use my Grandfather’s ‘97 Massey Ferguson 240 to turn the dirt up for the first time after some rain and it worked perfectly! It only has 499 hours on it so I’m glad we are able to give it a new purpose in life ❤️

Let’s all wish Max a Happy 22nd Birthday!! 🥹❤️

We’ve owned Max for over 4 years now after he was lovingly trusted with us. He has traveled from SC to MO, helped raise our first 3 weanlings, he has helped wean babies, been a companion to Gio, toted around me and Niko, and has been the sweetest old man to have around.

Max’s sire, Flotren, was a major producer in the Fjord world and blue evaluated stallion. He is living out his retirement in Montana at the age of 33!

Finally got back on the trail with my Golden boy yesterday 🥰 We joined a few friends with their geldings and mares before the temp rose to about 100 degrees. 🥵

Gio has had a very relaxing spring/summer. He’s definitely a bit chunky but he’s still his amazing self ❤️ Between the super wet spring, the now ungodly hot weather, and honestly me just feeling like I’ve been in a “funk”, the horses have been on their own vacation. Once we cool back down, everyone is getting back into the swing of things… including myself!
