While you’re enjoying a slow morning coffee, catching up on chores, or planning the week ahead, your pets are probably doing what they do best and supervising every move. 🐶🐱

I don’t think people realize how much a quick midday visit can help some dogs.

A potty break, water refresh, short walk, enrichment time, or even just human interaction can completely change their day while owners are stuck at work.

Especially during the hotter months when routines get weird and energy levels go absolutely feral 😅

I’ve been lucky enough to spend my days with some really sweet local pets lately, and I do have a few openings available for anyone needing weekday walks or drop-ins 🐾

With hotter weather coming in just a few short weeks, it’s important to remember some pet safety.

Always check the temperature of the pavement either with a thermometer or place your foot (with no shoe or sock on) on the pavement and hold it for 5 seconds. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them. Walk them in grass if accessible.

Keep water with you on walks at all times! If you stop for a drink, make sure to offer some water to your pup.

NEVER and I mean NEVER leave your cat, dog, small animal, etc in a car! Temps in cars rise FAST and it can be deadly.

Start summer off right by doing research on summer safety for your pets.
