5:30 am this morning we want to thank our great friends in Butler County Kentucky for allowing us to bring close to 20 more cats to be spayed and neutered.

We have TWENTY spots for spay/neuter on TUES but need a driver. We have a van for the drive but we HAVE to HAVE a DRIVER. Any volunteers?

Project ARF presently has five special kitties needing loving homes. These cats have been in foster care and have proven to be very loving. They do not do well in carriers or kennels, so events are very stressful for them. Traditional adoptions aren't an option. With an abundance of kittens available, and their apprehension, they are overlooked.
Here’s a success story of one such cat that has found its forever home. Please consider opening your heart and home to Nova, Fiona, Ducky, Tiny, or Rose. Their photos are in the comments.

Maxie, now Nesta is doing great! She has adjusted so well. She was very spicy when I met her, she swatted me and bit me the first time I tried to pet her. But she is the sweetest cuddle bug now. She sleeps in our bed right next to my pillow and just last night started purring for the first time!
She is a perfect addition to our family! Our only complaint is my cheese bill has went up because she can’t let my kids get a cheese stick without asking for a piece.

100% READY
Fixed, vaccinated and ready for my new home! Prince, a 3 mo, tuxedo kitten would like to have a bestie real soon. Exceptionally loving, he gets along with cats and dogs. He wants to snuggle ao much with the dogs, THEY are asking for some private space. Adoption fee is $100 through Project ARF. new home! SAD STORY
ARF is looking for a person with a big heart. We presently have two cats that need to be adopted together and originally came from a feral colony because they weren’t doing extremely well there. We have tried for over a month and a half to find them a good home where they could live out their lives and have not had a success.
No one seems to be interested in adopting because there are so many kittens. They are extremely shy until they become comfortable with their environment and the people around them.
Please, can you be a hero and give them a home? We’ve lowered their adoption fee to just $20, and they are both fixed, microchipped, and up-to-date on shots, along with rabies.
We are out of alternatives and very possibly may have to return them to the colony.

This is Cindy Dreshfield writing - For over 2 years Eric & I have been helping where we can in this world of rescue. I’ve made many friends, met & loved some amazing pooches & kitties, foster failed (twice), and put my heart right out there for everyone. But after prayerful thought, it is time for both of us to bid farewell to Project ARF and take a couple of steps back from that world. I’m sure we will continue to support animal control in some way . . . but I don’t want to be in charge of anything 😜 Thanks to all who have taught me, shown me respect & love, trusted me. I’m both sad & excited to start a new chapter in rescue. I have suggested that if animal control will just put a rocking chair someplace and start bringing me fur babies that need loving . . . I’ll be the AC grandma. Love & hugs 💕🥰😘

‼️ RHEA MADE BAIL ‼️
This gal spent a week with her friends at Princeton Veterinary Hospital, sedated procedure on the huge leg wound, laser treatments, and lots of meds. She was ready to get the heck out of Dodge! The wound looks 100 times better but will take a while to heal. Rhea has a sack full of meds. But we are thrilled with the progress and prognosis. Thanks a million to the vets & techs at Princeton. Special thanks to those who donated toward her vet expenses. Super big thanks to Moffett’s Toy Box & Paws and Claws Evansville for helping us ($700 worth) totally pay the Princeton bill. Any further donations will go towards her $350 at Highland. Grandma Cindy has told Rhea she has so many people that love her and have been rooting for her. Rhea shrugged her shoulder and said, “move, you’re in my seat.”
