Four years in and one of my favorite parts of keeping chickens is still this: picking up rescued produce from my local food rescue. 🐔🌱
Food that would've gone to waste becomes happy hens — and eventually eggs. That's a circular system I can actually feel good about.
If your area has a food rescue program, it's worth checking out what they have available. Does anyone else do something like this?
