These dogs were found in the middle of the road running into traffic. They were rescued by a couple in their 80’s who have a lot of health issues but they couldn’t stand the thought of them getting hit.
The older one that looks like a beagle mix is a boy, the middle one is a terrier mix female and the chihuahua is a boy. He’s very shy. Acts like he’s used to an older man. Contact Cindi at

Hi guys! This is Lori. I wanted to tell everyone myself that I am stepping away from the dog business- meaning Paws N Claws, PNC Community Pets, and the pound. I have been doing it alongside of Ladonna since Jan 2024 and it has been a wonderful experience that I would not trade for anything, but I just have to prioritize myself and my family at this time. 2025 and 2026 haven’t been great for me in regards to sick family and my own injuries. Ladonna will continue the mission with the help of her family, my daughter, some volunteers & the city. Ladonna is one of the hardest working people I know and my dear friend. She already does so much! Together, with your help, we have found over 110 homes for dogs that have come through the city pound as well as a large number of homes for other dogs in the community. I could not be prouder of that accomplishment.

Thank you ALL for EVERYTHING! It has been amazing to watch how you all have rallied around us and supported us. We all share a passion for saving dogs and that will never change.

It will take a few days to get all the FB stuff for the Community page switched over. Please be patient.
