Zuckerman’s Pest Management Acquires Buckeye Valley Wild Animal Control, Expands Wildlife Services with Long-Term Solutions
Pataskala/Reynoldsburg, OH – 5/28/2025 – Zuckerman’s Pest Management is proud to announce the acquisition of Buckeye Valley Wild Animal Control (BVWAC), formerly Tom Moore’s Trapping, continuing a trusted legacy in local wildlife control while expanding service offerings to include professional wildlife exclusion – a long-term, preventive solution not previously available under prior ownership.
This transition honors decades of wildlife expertise and a heartfelt community connection. Originally operated by Tom and Mary Moore, Tom Moore’s Trapping earned a reputation for humane wildlife trapping and euthanasia services. Upon their retirement in 2023, the business and exclusive client list were passed to longtime employee Bill Goudy and his wife Jamie Goudy, under the new name Buckeye Valley Wild Animal Control.
Zuckerman’s Pest Management had maintained a strong partnership with both ownership teams, referring all wildlife trapping inquiries to them for almost a decade.
Tragically, in December 2024, Jamie Goudy passed away following a period of illness. In the months following, Bill chose to step away from operations to focus on his daughter and family life. In May 2025, Heschel and Jerika Zuckerman met with Bill to finalize a compassionate and forward-thinking plan to carry the business forward.
“This was never just a business arrangement,” said Jerika Zuckerman, co-owner of Zuckerman’s Pest Management. “It was a partnership built on trust, compassion, and commitment to the community. We’re honored to carry that legacy forward and proud to introduce new services that offer lasting peace of mind for our clients.”
A Legacy Preserved, A Service Enhanced
Under new ownership, Zuckerman’s Pest Management now provides full-service wildlife trapping and professional exclusion — a significant enhancement to prior offerings.
While trapping addresses immediate wildlife issues, exclusion prevents future intrusions, making it the gold standard in long-term wildlife management.
Wildlife exclusion services include:
- Sealing entry points in attics, soffits, roofs, and crawl spaces
- Installing one-way doors for humane wildlife removal
- Reinforcing vents, chimney caps, and foundation gaps
- Custom screening to deter raccoons, squirrels, skunks, bats, birds, and more
- Habitat modification to discourage nesting and denning
“Exclusion is a proactive, humane, and highly effective service,” said Heschel Zuckerman. “It’s not something previous companies provided, and it allows us to offer clients a permanent solution—not just a temporary fix.”
In Loving Memory
This new chapter is dedicated to the memory of Jamie Goudy and to the decades of trust built by the Moore and Goudy families. Zuckerman’s Pest Management aims to carry this legacy forward with expanded services and continued community commitment.
