As you may have seen I am once again offering massages to outside clients. Life can be a bumpy ride and although I have no problem sharing what I've learned or experience in the last 3.5+ years I never posted it here. So to everyone unknowing, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in August of 2022. Between every other bump this made for energy issues and med changes.

So after being asked by an old client if I could come do their horse. I quickly began to not only reviewing old material, I finally started working to complete a certificate in Equine Myo-Manipulative Functional Therapy (EMFT). Something I started years ago.

So, once again I came to realize why I started massaging all those years ago. Simply for the love of the horse. To give a small part back to honor all those amazing horses that helped raise me.

Yet I've come to learn how huge the muscle(s) "organ" is/are... Soft tissue can cripple you just as fast as breaking a bone.... I did that too, broke my ankle in 3 spots lol

What have you found that works and are your go to choices?

There are 3 different mixes for the 5 horses. Natural! Corn and soy free, and digestive health are always my requirements! I am a health nut! I have had my horses nutrition better than mine for years. So I changed that this year. Health nut I became and only eat with the same requirements!

When you buy a horse or foal. Do you ever ask about the mare's nutrishion while they cooked?

The better the mare is fed the better the baby! As we all know! The healthier the mare was, the better the feed, the better the foal will be! Less vet visits are a big plus when adding to my herd!! So why not purchase one that was started right on day 1!

Maybe the cheap foals will end up being a big vet bill due to lack of proper growth as an embryo!

Honestly the one baby I purchased from a less than ideal situation became my permanent pasture pet at the age of 3...
