One year ago today, I took a leap of faith and opened Woof & Wander. 🐾🤍
Looking back, I never imagined how much this little dream would change my life. I thought I was starting a pet-sitting business, but in reality, it gave me so much more. It has taught me patience, compassion, confidence, and so many things about animals that I never thought I’d learn. From dogs and cats to horses, goats, chickens, cows, and so many other amazing animals, every single one has taught me something new and left a little piece of themselves on my heart.
There were days I questioned myself, days I was exhausted, and days I wondered if I was doing enough. But every wagging tail, every purr, every happy neigh, every curious goat, every chicken greeting me at feeding time, and every message from a client telling me they could truly relax while they were away reminded me exactly why I started.
I truly don’t have the words to express how grateful I am. Thank you to every family who has trusted me with your animals—no matter how big or small, furry, feathered, or hoofed. Thank you for every booking, every recommendation, every share, and every kind word. You didn’t just support a business—you helped someone live out a dream.
I feel incredibly blessed to wake up every day and do something I genuinely love. Caring for your animals has never felt like “just a job.” It has become a passion and a purpose, and I will never stop being thankful for the privilege of loving and caring for them as if they were my own.
Here’s to one incredible year of wagging tails, happy purrs, muddy boots, hoof prints, feathers, slobbery kisses, early mornings, late nights, and memories I’ll cherish forever. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for Woof & Wander next.
