What a week! 🤪☀️🔥🐴🐮🐐🐑🐷

It was a wild one full of eyeballs 👀, colic 🐴, castrations, joint therapy 💉, acupuncture 📍, dietary management 🌾, heaves cases 💨, and plenty of emergencies 🚨!

We’re still hoping and praying 🙏 that this hot weather decides to give us a break ANY minute now! 🥵☀️
Until then, we’re keeping the smiles going, the trucks rolling, and the momentum moving forward! 💪🚙💨

As always, please let us know if you need anything. We are incredibly grateful for our wonderful clients who trust us to care for their animals every single day. ❤️
Here’s to cooler weather, healthy animals, and another week doing what we love!

📸🐄🐴🐐☀️
A few snapshots from throughout the week because, honestly, there’s never a dull moment around here! 😂

We are excited to raise the bar for our practice with updated software and techniques. Always growing and learning 🤓

We’re also excited about what’s ahead! 🏗️✨ We’re working on the design for an in-house chute facility, with hopes of getting it up and running in 2027. We’re so excited about the possibilities this will bring for our team and our patients!

Our haul-in facility has been getting plenty of use, too, and we are incredibly grateful and thankful for the resources, opportunities, and people that make all of this possible. ❤️

And while we are VERY thankful for our air-conditioned trucks right now… 😂🥵 we are praying for some FALL 🍁🍂🍃 WEATHER and a much-needed break from this heat! 🍂🙏🏼🍁

Most of all, we’re thankful for our NCMVS team. The long days, the frustrations, the early mornings, the late nights, the laughs, the learning, and everything in between — we couldn’t do it without you guys. 🫶🏼

And one more VERY important celebration…
🎉🎂 HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Registered Veterinary Technician, Gracen!🎂🎉
We are so thankful to have you on our team and hope you have the BEST birthday! 🥳💗

Now… somebody please send us some cooler temperatures. 😂🍂🙏🏼
That’s a wrap! Until next week! 🐄🐴🐐❤️

🕊️ LABOR DAY WEEKEND 🥜🇺🇸

The doves are flying, the peanuts are boiling, and families are gathering. ❤️

Labor Day weekend is a good reminder to slow down for a minute, take a breather, and recognize the hardworking people who built this wonderful country we get to call home.
And goodness knows… this heat and dry weather has been rough on ALL of us. 🥵☀️

Please take care of yourselves AND your animals this weekend. Make sure they have plenty of fresh water, shade, and access to electrolytes when appropriate. 💦💦💦
Water. Water. Water. 💧

In the meantime, we’ll be right here praying for RAIN 🌧️ and a BIG temperature drop!

🇺🇸 Our office will be closed for routine appointments Friday–Monday. We will reopen Tuesday, September 8th.
As always, we are available for emergencies and are happy to help when you and your animals need us. ❤️
Have a safe, restful, and blessed Labor Day weekend from all of us at NC Mobile Veterinary Service!

What an incredible team day! 🤍🏹🐴

A huge THANK YOU to Erin Erickson and the amazing crew at Dark Horse Mounted Archers, along with our friends at Zoetis Equine Zoetis Equine , for hosting such a fun and memorable day in Warren County!

We spent the morning learning mounted archery techniques, practicing on horseback targets, and then wrapped it all up with one of the most beautiful, relaxing trail rides. 🌿☀️

There were plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. 😄🎯

Swipe til the end to see the aftermath of a good time! 😂😂🤪😬

If you’re looking for a unique outing, team-building event, or just a fun day with friends, we can’t recommend dark horse mounted archers enough! Whether you’re a first-time rider or a seasoned equestrian, they make it an absolute blast for everyone. ❤️🏹🐎
Thank you again for an unforgettable experience—we’ll definitely be back!

Fun times with great people this week! 🤠🐄🐐🐎❤️

There’s nothing better than spending the week working livestock alongside some incredible ladies who aren’t afraid to get a little dirt on their boots! 💪🌾

➡️ Swipe to see Lucy’s newest “hairstyle”... 💇‍♀️✂️😂 She decided to give herself a haircut while we weren’t looking.

Yep... we’ve definitely got to keep a close eye on that one! 🤪🤣💕

🎂🎉 Happy 3rd Birthday to our littlest assistant, Lucy! 🎈💕

She spent her birthday riding with the vet team and helping with some very important “brain surgery” on a few farm patients. 🧠😂

Spot and Brownie the goats 🐐🐐 and Chicken the pig 🐖 are officially on their way to becoming better citizens... 🍒 removed. ✅

Lucy was a great sport through it all. Her compensation package includes unlimited popsicles, occasional use of the dosing syringe (her favorite “job”), making new friends with farm kids along the route, and wrapping up the day with Bluey episodes in the office while the grown-ups finish paperwork.

Not a terrible way to spend turning three. ❤️ Happy Birthday, Lu! We love having our tiniest farm vet in training along for the ride. 🚑🐄🐴
