This morning between Sarah and I the other Sara. We loaded 12 cats to go to clinic. I have 3 left that I am looking at going now I need to find your guys appointments this week. We kept the smallest ones. I am going to feed them and give them capstar I know the one has fleas bad because saw the flea dirt all over the p*e pad. Its been a little crazy as normal. Last week we fixed 23 cats. This week no so sure how many we will fix. I will figure out our numbers for the month of August today. We are looking forward to a weekend off next weekend. Last night I was driving for over 3 hours picking up cats and feeding colonies plus going to look for a kitten that seen falling out of a car.

🐾 Meet Gemma 🐾

This beautiful girl came to us as an owner surrender, and wow... poor Gemma is dealing with some of the most extensive allergies we've ever seen. Her 5-strand allergy test came back with a list so long it was honestly shocking!

But the good news? She's in the right hands now, and we're determined to get her healthy, comfortable, and feeling her best again. ❤️

Gemma is approximately 2 years and 11 months old and will be seeing the veterinarian tomorrow for a full exam, medical workup, and a treatment plan to get her on the road to recovery.

We could really use your help with her medical care. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward helping dogs like Gemma get the second chance they deserve.

Once she's healthy, she will be spayed and ready to find her forever home. Gemma will need an experienced Bulldog owner who understands allergy management and the care that comes with it. She loves other dogs, enjoys being around kids, and has so much love to give.

One thing to note... no cats, chickens, or even hamsters! Those are all on her allergy list. 😅

🎉 Sara's Birthday Wish: Help Us Raise $3,000 for the Cats! 🎉

As Sara's birthday approaches (July 19th), we're asking our amazing supporters to help us reach a very special goal: raising $3,000 to help save more cats and kittens.

Many of you know that Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) is my passion. Thanks to your support, our rescue has already helped nearly 400 cats get spayed and neutered since January 2026. Every cat fixed means fewer homeless kittens and a healthier future for community cats.

Your donations help us provide: 🐾 Spay and neuter surgeries
🐾 Food for feral cat colonies
🐾 Food and Litter for Cats in our care
🐾 Flea treatments and medications
🐾 Litter and daily care supplies
🐾 Emergency and routine veterinary care

We also need a little extra help with our rescue van. Earlier this year, we purchased a van that is used for approximately 90% of our rescue work—transporting cats to appointments, picking up supplies, and responding to rescue calls. Unfortunately, we've recently incurred unexpected repair costs, and now the van requires new tires. The cost for four tires and a lifetime alignment is about $700.

Honestly, this isn't our van—it's the cats' van. It makes so much of our rescue work possible, and keeping it safely on the road helps us continue helping cats in need.

Meet Ms Minnie she found herself at the shelter at 14 years old. Her owner had passed away. The shelter was too much for her she shut down and decided she was not going to eat that caused her to have some health problems. Nothing that cannot be handled by just eating. She caught the eye of shelter volunteers that knew she needed out and offered her a little less of a crazy place to land till her new home could be found.

Do you know why I hate kitten season. This is not the first dead kitten I had to wrap up today. It was fine with momma when I left for work today. All the others appear to be OK. The other one was kinda expected because it was so much smaller than the others . Spay and neuter your cats spay and neuter your community cats we know they are not yours but other people have failed them don't fail them also. Rip little one. I am sorry we trapped your mom to late. I am booking more spay and neuter appointments for the next month that we will need to pay for please donate help us stop this madness. I am tired of wrapping up dead kittens.

We are a rescue in the City of Citrus Heights in Northern California. We have been rescuing animals for most of our lives and decided to finally make it official. We are hoping this rescue will allow us to help even more animals as well as provide communities with more resources and education so they can help in a cause we are so passionate about!
We are committed to the rescue, rehabilitate, spay/neuter, and rehoming of abandoned animals. We ensure they receive the love and second chances they deserve.

Last night, we needed cats for appointments at all of our locations, only catching ear-tipped ones. We needed easy, fast cat captures. We headed over to a mobile home park, sneaking in behind cars. I followed a cat I watched playing with a bug. I went and talked to the people outside, and they said, "Ours are fixed, but the lady across the way needs help." Yes, she needed a lot of help. We did not get a kitten count; there were too many, all bouncing around. We got 5 adults last night, and I went and picked up the pregnant one she caught this morning. The caregiver can't see to drive anymore. She can't see us clearly standing in front of her. Uber is 40 dollars each way to the clinic. Neighbors work, so they can't drive her. She is struggling to feed, but she is feeding them. I think the plan is to finish her house after we catch the gray pregnant one I saw this morning, then do the whole street. Then, we'll move to the next street in the park. A total of 10 cats went to the clinic. Our team did good; lots of mommas will not have to be mommas again. We already received word that one cat is not coming home. We suspected that he would not be coming home; he is from a different location.
