Avalon Icelandics and Farm We moved our operation to a small farm in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. Produce, eggs, and wool products are offered as available.

We breed Icelandic horses, and in partnership with Heidi Benson, of Saestadir Icelandics, offer some horse and rider training.

My young stallion, Þorinn, didn't do as well as his big sister, Artemis, but still very respectable for his young, untrained age of 4. He received 7.86, with great areas that will naturally improve with more training next year. Stallions can take a long time to develop fully, so I am confident.
Thanks very much to Taktur Icelandics for presenting him for me. He was a bit of a handful 😏.

I couldn't be more proud of my first foal, all grown up. She got a great score for conformation, 8.21, with comments to be very happy with.
Thanks to all the hard work and help from Taktur Icelandics, who presented this lovely mare for me. A year of groundwork, light trail riding, and conditioning at home did great things for Artemis. Now she heads home with Taktur for a few months of gait refinement training.
