COMPETITORS: Calling all app beta testers! Do you have a trial coming up this summer? Does the host or organization use our parking lot app? Are you interested in testing the new app? Here's what you can do. No extra work from the host needed.

Apple/iOS users: Apple requires using the TestFlight App before developers can add an app in the Store. The beta link below will take you to the page to download the app and install ParkingLot app through TestFlight.

TestFlight has a built in feedback mechanism but we also recommend providing feedback to [email protected]. When you open the app you will see a list of all the parkinglot app hosts in alphabetical order. Hosts that have an active trial, or run order loaded will be sorted alphabetically at the top by their organization name they chose for the app. No run order - they move to the bottom in order. Their name may be abbreviated and you may need to check the final details email from the host to identify the name of their site.

Android users: We need your email first. Android requires us to test with a certain number of people for a certain length of time before we can push to their store. This is by email invite only. Send your email to my email address above and then use this link to download the app:

What new features are supported?! Push notifications! Now you can get notified when your number comes up on the screen on either side (not when your number is up, so you can get ready to go). Click Go Live at the top. Enter your run order #. You will see minimized versions of the number screen on your home screen when your phone is locked, and at the top of the phone on any other screen when you are in any other app. So now you can multitask on your phone and not have to find the tab/window with the website. Now you can also put your phone in your pocket and just get a notification when you're getting close. Also, you won't need to remember each host's website because they are all in the app. So when you get to the trial, you can just click on their site. When you go to another trial, you can click on that host's site. No need to bookmark multiple hosts' sites.

Reminder that this in beta. You should have a backup method of knowing when you are up (watching dogs ahead of you) especially for this testing. Also, please know that you'll be notified how your phone usually notifies you. That can be a message on the screen, a vibration, a sound, etc. See some screenshots below from an iPhone.

You'll start seeing me peek my head on here every once and a while getting my fall trials and training ready. But otherwise, I have been busy visiting new sites, but mostly enjoying summer break.
