It’s been another kitten palooza kind of day. Not only did we have to scramble to find a foster for a feral mamma in our TNR program who gave birth before her spay appointment; but one of our board member’s coworkers found these babies in their engine compartment.

They look young enough to still be bottle fed so we asked one of our amazing nurse friends at Valley Vet to take them. And one of our adopters stepped up to take the other batch. It’s days like these that are so challenging, but also so humbling when our community works together to help these animals!

Thanks to your response to our plea for donations a couple weeks ago, we were able to catch up on vet bills. But these babies will still need to get vet care as well as to be spayed and neutered. To help us with these costs, this $5 Friday we are asking for your donations … no matter how small … to help sponsor these kittens. Every dollar helps!

FOSTER FOUND!!!

HELP! One of the feral mammas we trapped to take to a spay apt gave birth overnight. We need someone who can take both mamma and babies in for the next 8 weeks until the kittens are old enough to be on their own.

We would set the kittens and mamma up in a large enclosure and it would require feeding the mamma and monitoring the kittens. Someone who has been around newborn kittens would be preferred but not required. We supply everything and will also guide you through the process.

Trapping this mom before she gave birth ended up saving these kittens from growing up outside vulnerable to disease and predators. It also ensures the mamma won’t have any other unwanted litters and her babies won’t contribute any more to the feral cat population.

We are looking for people who love to scare others for our Haunted House held Oct. 24 at the Kittitas County Events Center. If you love Halloween, love to make people jump and scream, we would love to have you as part of our volunteer scare team!

We have two sets of bonded kittens who are currently looking for homes! We are discounting these kids with a 2 for 1 deal ($250 for both) so they can stay together.

Sisters Krishna and Kovu are panleukopenia survivors. Kovu is slightly wobbly … the result of the virus keeping the part of her brain that controls balance from fully developing. But they are both now healthy and waiting for a safe indoor home they can thrive in.

Brothers Lincoln and Kennedy were taken from a feral colony and quickly became used to the indoor life with pets and treats. They are inseparable and love to cuddle.

Papasito put on jammies and got his nails done so he could show you how far he’s come and possibly entice you to take him home.

This boy came from a bad breeding situation and was very fearful and snappy. Thanks to our friends at Hounds from Hell, he has since learned to trust and is now a goofy,happy boy.

He is looking for a home with no kids where he can be the only dog and be spoiled rotten. Because of his past we require a few meet and greets to make sure it’s a good fit. If you are interested in being the center of this boy’s world, email [email protected]
