Elko City Dog Park

The City of Elko will be preforming renovations on the park bathroom on Monday, September 15th. This will entail new flooring, paint and bathroom partitions. While the renovations will take the remainder of the season, Terry's will be placing Porta-potties in the parking. This is a post I should not have to make.
During my last visit to the dog park, I found several to***co chew pouches on the ground. To***co is extremely POISONOUS to dogs, meaning within an hour of an ingestion they could have major symptoms. Frankly It is bu****it. I removed as much as I could, but we’re talking 10 to 12 pouches in a small area. This is a serious issue. Please anyone that finds an please pick them up. I know they are probably probably not yours, but they need to be removed when found. whoever spit on the ground, do not do it again. I know I can’t enforce that, but you could kill dogs and it’s horrible that you would think that this is ok.
To***co contains several chemicals, the most active of which is ni****ne, a substance highly poisonous to dogs. Ni****ne is a stimulant that affects the central nervous system. Dogs can show signs of poisoning within one hour of ingestion.
