🐔🎃 HI EVERYBODY, IT’S HANK HERE!!! 🎃🐔

Okay, friends, we need to have a serious conversation about my mom. I’m starting to question whether they make moms take ANY kind of test before allowing them to become moms, because I’m pretty sure mine needs to go BACK TO SCHOOL! 🤦‍♂️😂

So, let’s talk about Halloween. Halloween is supposed to be a SPOOKY, FUN holiday, right?! It’s the one time of year when you get to dress up and be whatever you want! A superhero 🦸‍♂️, a dinosaur 🦖, a scary monster 👹, a pirate 🏴‍☠️… I mean, the possibilities are ENDLESS!

And what does MY MOM decide I should be?!

🥁🥁🥁 DRUMROLL, PLEASE…

A CHICKEN. 🐔😳

A. CHICKEN.

I literally have no words. Well, actually, I have LOTS of words, but my mom doesn’t speak fluent Hank, so here we are. 😂

Of ALL the amazing, terrifying, cool, and incredibly handsome things I could be, she looks at ME, a distinguished gentleman with movie-star good looks, and thinks, “Ohhhh, he would make the CUTEST little chicken!” 🐥

EXCUSE ME, MA’AM?! HAVE YOU MET YOUR DOG?!? 🤣

And then she has the nerve to tell me how CUTE I look in it! Well, OBVIOUSLY I look cute. I could wear a trash bag and still be adorable. That’s just a gift I was born with. But that is NOT THE POINT! 😎❤️

The point is that I have a reputation to maintain. I have a brand. I have FANS. I have an entire rescue family watching me! And now they want me clucking around the neighborhood like I just escaped from a chicken coop?! 🐔😭

But don’t you worry, everybody. I have a PLAN. 😏

Sometime this week, when Mom isn’t looking, I’m going to sneak onto Amazon. I’ve seen her do it a million times. How hard can it be? A few clicks, maybe a paw print on the keyboard, and BAM! My dream costume will be on its way! 📦🐾

And let me tell you something… IT WILL NOT BE A CHICKEN. 😂

I’m thinking something fierce. Something legendary. Something that says, “I am Hank, hear me roar!” 🦁💪

Stay tuned, friends. If Mom thinks she’s getting a chicken for Halloween, she has another thing coming. 😈

And if you happen to see a suspicious Amazon package addressed to Hank… NO YOU DIDN’T. 🤫📦

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some shopping to do and a mom who clearly cannot be trusted with costume decisions.

❤️LUCKY HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME! ❤️

Some dogs come into our lives and leave paw prints on our hearts forever. Lucky is one of those dogs, and today, we are beyond thrilled to share that he has finally found the forever family he has always deserved! 🥹❤️

Six months ago, we first saw Lucky in a Facebook post from a breeder who was looking to give him away. When we learned about Lucky, we knew he needed medical care, stability, and, most importantly, a whole lot of love.

It took an incredible team of people to get Lucky from the breeder through several short-term foster homes and eventually to Wisconsin, where he could finally receive the medical attention he desperately needed. From the very beginning, so many people stepped up for this special boy, and we will forever be grateful.

Once Lucky arrived in Wisconsin, we were able to get him the care he needed. For months, we worked to help regulate his seizures and find the right medication to keep him healthy and comfortable. Along the way, Lucky had several wonderful foster families who loved him, cared for him, and helped him through every step of his journey. ❤️

We received more applications for Lucky than we can remember receiving for any other dog. Yet, despite all the interest, we just couldn’t seem to get anyone to come meet him. We knew that once someone actually met Lucky, they would understand what we had known all along. There is something incredibly special about this boy, and you can feel it the moment you meet him.

Then, the right people came along. ❤️

A wonderful couple reached out, and they had already fallen in love with Lucky before even meeting him. When they finally did, it was everything we had hoped for. They instantly knew he was the one. They saw what we have seen in him from the very beginning: a truly special boy who deserves nothing less than an extraordinary life.

Lucky means so much to so many of us, and letting him go wasn’t easy. But knowing that he is going to a family who loves him so deeply and is committed to giving him the life he deserves makes every moment of this journey worth it. We couldn’t be happier for him or more grateful to his adopters for opening their hearts and home to our very special boy. 🏡❤️

Of course, a journey like Lucky’s would never have been possible without an amazing team of people standing behind him.

A heartfelt thank-you to Karina for going to get Lucky and helping give him his second chance. Thank you to Rebecca and Cindy for fostering him in Texas, and to Madeline and Jen for opening their homes and hearts to him here in Wisconsin. Each of you played such an important role in getting Lucky where he needed to be.

And a very special thank-you to Mukwonago Animal Hospital for helping us navigate Lucky’s seizures and work toward finding the right medication for him. Your help and care have meant so much to Lucky and everyone who loves him. ❤️

Lucky, we love you more than words can say! You have been through so much in your young life, and through it all, you have shown us just how special you are. We are so incredibly happy that you have finally found the family you were always meant to have. May your days be filled with love, comfort, happiness, and all the wonderful things you have always deserved. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️🐾

Because every once in a while, a dog like Lucky reminds us that every mile traveled, every medical challenge, every sleepless night, and every person who steps up is worth it when we get to see a happy ending like this one.

❤️ RED !!!!!❤️

Have you ever seen a dog so handsome that he stops you in your tracks? 😍 Meet Red, a stunning 3-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing approximately 78 pounds, and trust us when we say this boy is SO much more than just a pretty face! ❤️

Red is incredibly smart, eager to please, and learning new things every day! He is picking up so many commands and showing just how amazing he can be. This boy WANTS to learn, WANTS to make you happy, and WANTS to be your very best friend! 🥹❤️

And his personality? Just as beautiful as he is! Red absolutely LOVES people. He has a big, happy personality, a goofy side that will keep you laughing, and a heart full of love to share. He has done well meeting people, including kids, and he would love an active family who wants a companion to play with, go on adventures with, and include in everyday life.

Red has been working hard with his amazing mom on leash training and learning to keep all four paws on the ground when he gets excited to meet new friends. He is making wonderful progress! He has also started attending doggy daycare, where he has a BLAST playing with other dogs! ❤️ Red can be selective about his canine friends, so a meet-and-greet would help determine whether another dog is a good match.

This boy has SO much potential! With continued training, consistency, patience, and a family willing to help him keep shining, Red is going to make an incredible addition to the right home. Imagine all the adventures, laughter, cuddles, and unconditional love waiting for the lucky family who gives him a chance!
