🐾 Legacy Litter Puppy Parents — Feeding Reminder! 🐾

Our babies are growing FAST! ❤️

Now that they're 10 weeks old, it's important to make sure their nutritional needs are being met as they continue growing.

🐶 A few feeding reminders:

🍽️ 3 meals a day is recommended at this age.

🥣 Depending on their weight and the brand of food, some puppies may need approximately 2–4 cups TOTAL daily, divided between meals. Always follow your food's feeding guidelines and adjust as needed.

🐾 Make sure they're eating a quality large-breed puppy formula to support healthy bone and joint development.

📈 Their portions will continue increasing as they grow, so pay attention to their weight and body condition.

❤️ Remember, bigger isn't always better! With Cane Corsos, we want healthy, steady growth rather than rapid weight gain.

🐾 Let's talk about SOCIALIZATION! 🐾

To all our new Martins Almighty Cane Corsos families, here's another important reminder! ❤️

SOCIALIZE. SOCIALIZE. SOCIALIZE!

I cannot stress enough how important early socialization is, especially when you're raising a breed as large, powerful, and naturally protective as the Cane Corso!

Socialization isn't just about letting your puppy meet other dogs. It's about introducing them to the WORLD around them!

🐾 Different people, ages, and appearances

🐾 New environments, sights, and sounds

🐾 Car rides, vet visits, and everyday outings

🐾 Other animals and well-mannered dogs

🐾 Different surfaces, noises, and unfamiliar situations

The goal isn't to make your Cane Corso love everyone. The goal is to raise a confident, well-balanced dog that can recognize the difference between a real threat and an everyday situation.

Remember, this breed is naturally protective. You don't need to teach them how to protect you! What you DO need to teach them is how to navigate the world with confidence and trust your leadership.

And socialization doesn't mean forcing your puppy into uncomfortable situations or allowing every stranger to pet them. Take your time, make experiences positive, and build their confidence! Be mindful of their vaccination status and choose safe environments.

A fearful dog and a protective dog are NOT the same thing!

The cute little puppy you're holding today will eventually become a 100+ pound adult. The foundation you build NOW will make a world of difference later.

We take pride in the temperaments of Kane and Asha, but genetics are only part of the equation. The time, patience, training, and consistency you put into your puppy matter just as much!

Don't wait until they're big to start teaching them how to be good dogs! ❤️

🐾 Let's talk about kennel training! 🐾

To all our new Martins Almighty Cane Corsos families, one thing we highly encourage is KENNEL TRAINING!

There are so many benefits to starting this while they're young! Not only does it help tremendously with potty training and establishing a routine, but it also prepares them for situations throughout their lives when a kennel may be necessary.

Whether it's recovering from surgery, an unexpected injury, severe weather, having company over, or simply needing a safe place to relax, having a dog that's comfortable in a kennel makes life easier for both you AND them!

Especially with a breed as large and powerful as the Cane Corso, establishing good habits early is so important!

A kennel should NEVER be used as punishment or a place they're confined to all day. It should be a positive, comfortable space they recognize as their own.

Even once they're fully trained, leave that kennel available! You'd be surprised how often dogs will choose to go into their own space just to relax.
We love seeing our puppies go to their forever homes, but we also want to see them grow into well-mannered, confident adults. And that starts with the foundation you build while they're young!

Train them while they're little, because they won't stay little for long! 🐾❤️

And just like that, Kane and Asha's final litter has officially found their forever homes! 🥹

We want to take a moment to thank each and every wonderful family who trusted us to bring one of our babies into their homes. It means more to us than you know! We are beyond blessed to have found such amazing families who will love and cherish them as much as we do.
To those who reached out, shared our posts, supported us, or weren't able to bring home a puppy from this litter, THANK YOU! Your love and support have meant the world to us!
While this chapter with Kane and Asha has come to an end, their legacy is far from over!
We couldn't let this bloodline end without keeping a piece of them with us. ❤️

Halas (Samson) went home with this wonderful family today! 🤍🐾

Last year, Lambeau went home to a Cheesehead—a Packers fan😝 so it was only right that this litter gave us a HUGE Bears fan like us! 😂💙🧡

And of course they named him Halas, after the legendary founder and owner of the Chicago Bears. How perfect is that?!
