Can you count how many kittens I'm holding?
This was nearly 10 years ago. Our kitten litter from our beautiful barn cat Icesa (white tabby siamese mix). These were such well raised kittens. We poured our heart and soul into helping the mama cat raise them. We even trained them to use a litter box outdoors instead of pottying at the garden or wherever they wanted.
They taught me so much on how to care for the entire litter, ensuring mama cat was well fed, and how to take care of kittens at different stages. I even learned how to determine the gender of the kittens at birth. 😻
Once mama cat was no longer nursing them, we spayed her right away. Unfortunately, less than a month later, she passed from being hit by a car. 😢
Same thing happened to my black and white tabby, with her tongue out... She also passed by getting hit. She was my first kitten. She was dog-like, followed my dog and I during walks, and was such a great house guard. She was the reason my love for cats started.
