Meet Banksia, the eastern grey kangaroo! Banksia is a beautiful flower found in Australia and when you come on tour you can see a banksia seed. One of the most unusual flower seed you'll ever see. Banksia is only 6 months old and as you can see in her picture has quite the personality. Be sure and stop by the Elbert County business expo this sat from 10am to 3pm. So much for the family to do and see and a chance to win 4 tickets to the zoo!

New babies to meet on your tours! This is Lenah, which means kangaroo in the native Aboriginal language. She is an 8 month old red kangaroo, Just one of the animals you will meet on your edventure! Our new tortoise houses have arrived! Making their debut this year will be our creep of African spur thighed tortoises and yellow foot tortoises. They will be joining our educational programs along with our mini dino park. Don't worry we will be adding their tails and necks when the snow clears. Some of our dinosaurs can even be ridden by our younger crowd! And don't forget Surfer dude and Valley girl dinos are always available for pictures no matter what age you are. We are working hard to reopen for our 2026 season come May 1st depending on the weather. Be sure and visit our website to reserve your edventure!

Our beautiful little Shetland sheep, Charcoal gave birth to this beautiful little girl this week! Shetland sheep are a small breed of sheep originating in Scotland. This little girl will be joining the petting zoo this year when we reopen for the season in May. She is also looking for any name suggestions you may have!
