Meet Taylor, Christina, Cher, Britney, Rihanna, and Adele — six adorable kittens with enough personality, energy, and star power to fill an entire stadium. In here? They’re not just superstars — they are fearless explorers, cuddle enthusiasts, and fierce wrestlers. Together, they’re serving main-character energy from sunrise to sunset!

Every day we see the incredible connections that form between cats and their people, both through adoption success stories and our volunteers’ efforts. Join our friends at All Creatures Veterinary Emergency Clinic - Folsom as they celebrate their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and the start of an exciting new chapter for one of our veterinary partners! ❤️✂️

All Creatures has been an incredible resource and has helped care for many animals in our community, including cats from Fat Kitty City. We’re grateful for their compassion, dedication, and commitment to helping animals in need.

Still nothing for little D.R. Horton? 🖤

D.R. Horton is a 7-month-old black kitten with playful energy, a sweet personality, and so much love to give.

Like any young kitten, he loves to run around, play, and explore—but once he’s all tuckered out, he’s more than happy to soak up pets and attention from his favorite humans. He previously lived with other cats and enjoyed having playful feline friends around.

D.R. Horton came from a difficult situation where a large number of cats are now needing help after their owner lost housing. Fat Kitty City is stepping in to help these cats get safe, fixed, and into loving forever homes. Despite everything, D.R. Horton has remained affectionate, social, and ready for his next chapter.

If you’re looking for a sweet young cat with lots of personality and kitten charm, D.R. Horton could be your perfect match. 🥹

Some Cats Are Still Waiting to Be Chosen.

June is National Adopt a Cat Month, and while many cats will find loving homes this summer, others may still be waiting.

At Fat Kitty City, cats like Pinot, Sammy, Villon, Sir, Momma, and many more are hoping this is finally their month. Some have been overlooked simply because they aren't tiny kittens. Others are shy, older, or just haven't met the right person yet.
Every adoption changes two lives: the one of the cat going home, and the one of the next cat we can rescue in need.

This month we celebrate the cats still waiting for their second chance, and the adopters who make those happy endings possible.

For today’s , we’re so excited to share an update on these two adorable kittens—now known as Rocket & Groot! 🚀🌱🐾

Their family says the kittens are doing fantastic and are already deeply loved. Not only are they settling in beautifully, but they also get along great with the dogs (and we love to see it).

Every evening turns into full zoomie hour around the house, keeping everyone thoroughly entertained. 😹 And thanks to all the cuddles and attention from their 11-year-old human best friend, Rocket and Grood are growing into incredibly social, easygoing cats. A match made in heaven… or actually, made in a galaxy (of which they are now the Guardians)!

We LOVE seeing our kittens thriving in homes filled with love, playtime, and lots of snuggles. Thank you to their amazing family for giving Rocket & Groot such a wonderful life—and thank you to our volunteers, fosters, donors, and supporters who help make these happy endings possible. ❤️

They may not know the difference between cerulean and blue, but they do know how to steal hearts. 💕
