Lilly was very into our last session. She had a lot of tension through her neck and poll. Where normally she doesn’t like me to work near her head she was practically begging for it and almost fell asleep a few times. She’s made me work hard to earn her affection sometimes over the last four and a half years of doing bodywork sessions on her!

I was able to visit a very special boy today. Mr. Gabe is a miniature pony with dwarfism that's been having trouble getting up and moving around. After about an hour of stretches and massage he was able to walk out of the barn for the first time in several weeks to go graze freely unassisted. A very happy sight indeed! I'll be back to visit him next week!

After being away for quite some time due to a persistent rotator cuff injury, I was finally able to return to my rounds and see clients today. It was a very special day indeed because it is Mary Ann and Flash's birthday!

These two dressage rockstars combined are in the century club together. Every time I get to see them and work with Flash is a pleasure. I wish them both a very happy birthday and believe Flash enjoyed his massage today!

Today was my first trip back to Ellington Stables in beautiful Bloomington since the COVID-19 shutdown. Lilly, Beatrix, Lyric, and Flash were all happy and relieved to recieve their massages after a long wait. Hopefully now we can resume our regular sessions and get the ponies back into top shape!

Beatrix (bay) and Lyric (grey) enjoyed their late night massages yesterday! It was my first time working with them but they were as sweet as could be, and thankfully it wasn’t too cold in the barn at Ellington Stables. Beatrix has some issues with her atlas and lumbar so I want to be able to do more to alleviate those problems in the future so she can blossom into a great little dressage horse.

I had a great time as the guest speaker for the Vigo County Horse and Pony Club last night. The kids learned how to do some basic stretches with their horses, and why it's so important. They did a wonderful job. A big thank you to Renee Hawkins for having me out, and to the kids for being such good students!
